Cadbury has combined the world's two greatest pleasures: chocolate and caffeine.

The chocolate giant has savagely axed several cult favourites over the last years, from the Wispa Gold Hot Chocolate to the Dairy Milk Peanut Caramel Crisp, while also coming under fire for raising its prices. However, Cadbury is now making amends with what is effectively an edible morning pick-me-up.

Making their debut down under, the new chocolate bars were well received in Australia and are now available to order on a slew of online retailers in the UK. The 'melt-in-your-mouth' chocolate was tasted by foodie account New Foods UK, which has more than 300,000 hungry followers.

"[The] coffee smell hits you straight away and it's even stronger in taste," the account said after trying the new Cadbury Iced Latte Twirl. "We love coffee so really enjoyed this bar!!"

While the new Twirls aren't available in UK supermarkets (yet) they can be purchased on sites like Candy Mail UK and King's Candy which import chocolate and sweets from around the world. You can pick up a 39g bar for £2, but many retailers are sold out on the coffee-chocolate, so you'll need to act quickly.

Thousands of chocolate lovers rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on the new bar, with many describing it as 'amazing'. "I need this, yummy," raved one Facebook user.

Another agreed, commenting: "These sound delicious," while a third added: "I'll keep an eye out for these bad boys." However, not everybody was happy about the new flavour combination, with one coffee hater stating: "There's no need for this." Another said: "Polite pass for me."
