A mum was left stunned when her daughter claimed she could hear "monsters" lurking in her walls.

Ashley, a TikToker from Charlotte, North Carolina, decided to investigate her daughter's claims by using a heat-detecting camera to peer into the walls of their home. But what she would uncover would be beyond her imagination. The "monsters" her daughter feared were revealed to be roughly 50,000 honeybees, nestled snugly within the confines of her bedroom wall. One user expressed their relief that it was bees that were found, and not "a man living in your wall".

The source of the mysterious buzzing that had unsettled her daughter had finally been confirmed. A beekeeper who was quickly called on site couldn't contain their excitement at the hive discovery, according to Ashley. But shockingly, the surprises did not stop there. Despite safely removing 50,000 bees initially, the family was surprised to find more buzzing visitors in the exact same place just three days later.

"We thought we got all the honeybees," Ashley said in a recent video, as she pointed out a new heat signal detected behind the wall. On TikTok, some users proposed a creative solution by bottling up the honey to cover repair costs. "Any chance you can sell that honey for the next round of repairs?" one user suggested.

Ashley clarified that the bees had returned to their hive after pollinating flowers. "Bees don't stay in one place, so if they're out pollinating flowers during the extraction time, they'll come back to their hive later," she said. "These are the remaining bees." Despite her efforts, Ashley faced another challenge - the mounting cost of bee removals. "It's getting more expensive by the day and insurance isn't covering it," she shared.

Some users lightened the mood with humorous remarks, suggesting the bees "owe you rent" or even jokingly offering the house to them. One said: "They can just have the house at this point." Another added: "I would honestly rather have monsters in the wall than to have 50k bees."

In her latest update, Ashley revealed that the "buzzing in the wall" was still increasing, indicating the problem is still ongoing. It still remains unclear how the problem can be resolved to prevent the bees from coming back again as well as how Ashley can manage the increasing expenses.
