Eurovision star Olly Alexander has admitted he's worried his teeth are going to fall out after a surprising reveal.

The Dizzy singer, 33, will be representing the nation at the 68th Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo, Sweden, on Saturday. Hopes are high for Olly to be declared victorious and bring success back to the UK after Katrina and the Waves won back in 1997. However, in 2019, the star shared a worrying admission about the state of his smile after revealing he didn't have any adult teeth.

Taking to Twitter, Olly explained he "just didn't have them" as he opened up about his dental history. "They literally are baby teeth. Some of my teeth aren’t adult teeth cos my mouth just didn’t have them," he shared, before adding: "My baby teeth are strong, but one day they will fall out," with a crying emoji.

After a follow-up post in which Olly said: "I can’t believe I'm sharing this wtf," fans commented on his admission. One said: "What? I had the same thing but now I got implants! Relatable king." While another gushed: "Wtf. That's so cute."

Despite his "cute" gnashers, Olly received mixed reviews when he performed at the Eurovision semi-finals on Tuesday. While some fans loved his punchy performance, others accused Olly of being "off-key" and "out of tune".

Despite the backlash, the singer was all smiles as he caught up with Scottish TV presenter Lorraine Kelly via video link today. As Lorraine told the Eurovision hopeful Dizzy is "a banger", she added: "I would have loved to have been in that [music] video", to which Olly replied, "Thank you Lorraine, you are welcome to join me on stage if you want, you're more than welcome."

"It's such a huge thing," Lorraine went on to declare as Olly admitted: "It's massive. This whole Eurovision experience is wild. Last night was amazing. It was the first time performing in the arena and on TV. It was just... yeah, it was amazing." He then revealed: "I had a slight wardrobe malfunction - my mic pack fell off - and had to improvise but that's fine - it's live TV, it happens."

"You did so, so well with that," Lorraine then told her guest, adding: "I think a lot of people - I noticed it - but I think a lot of people wouldn't have noticed that the mic came away. So you're having to adapt, so well done on that. And also, what a naughty performance I'm glad to say! I thought it was fantastic - those dancers! They are just fantastic!"
