PEOPLE have been left open-mouthed as Home Bargains get in the festive spirit, more than six months before Christmas Day.

With summer not even officially here and Halloween still four months away, it appears that Home Bargains aren’t fussed by the season, and are already looking forward to December.

The much loved chain left shoppers open-mouthed and some even horrified, with their most recent social media post.

Posting on Instagram, Home Bargains shared a snap of the chain’s Christmas offerings - including festive signs, bows, baubles, tree decorations and more.

Alongside the post, the chain penned: ‘Since Summer isn't happening this year. Can we start to get excited about Christmas?’

The picture revealed a variety of cheap festive items, including Merry Christmas signs for £3.99 and packs of mini baubles for just £1.99.

Not only this, but there’s also front door bows from £2.99 and Christmas tree decorations from just 99p.

Whilst it wasn’t made clear whether the festive aisle has in fact already returned to stores, Christmas items currently remain out of stock on their website.

However, there is a large range of Christmas gifts that are available for buy online, for those eager to stock up early.

And don’t worry if you’re on a budget, as there’s everything from L’Oreal men’s sets and fragrance sets, to Disney cosmetics bags and Marvel buys, all super cheap.

But the @homebargains Instagram post has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 10,500 likes and 1,188 comments in just one day.

Social media users were hugely divided by seeing Christmas items on their feeds - and whilst some were excited, others were appalled.

One person said: “Omg, yes yes yes, can’t wait to see this aisle.”

Another added: “Never too early to think about Christmas.”

A third commented: “Yes yes yes bring it on.”

Whilst someone else beamed: “Yes!!! Lets!!!”

However, at the same time, not everyone was as keen to see Christmas stock.

One user claimed: “Can’t think of anything worse!!”
