Sade Robinson, a 19 year old woman who was tragically murdered, was remembered as a "remarkable" individual with a "contagious" laugh and "confidence in the best way possible" during a memorial held on what would have been her 20th birthday.
Robinson was reported missing by a friend on April 2. A building employee told authorities that she had been looking forward to a date planned for April 1, according to a criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
Two days after a passerby discovered the teenager's leg at Warnimont Park along Lake Michigan in Cudahy, Maxwell Anderson of Milwaukee was arrested. The leg had been severed just below the hip.

The victim, who would have turned 20 on May 10, was honored at a public memorial organized by her loved ones at the Baird Center in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Her father, Carlos Robison, who resides in Florida but traveled to Milwaukee to assist in the search for his daughter's remains, recalled the day Sade was born, saying: "On May 10th, 2004, I was in college taking my final exams and my phone rings."

He said he rushed out of the lecture, got into his car and traveled at least a "100 miles an hour" to get to the hospital and witness the birth of his first daughter.
He said the arrival of his daughter gave his life "purpose" and said he watched her grow "from a tiny little baby to a beautiful young lady that would make any father proud."
The woman's father said he appreciated the support the family received since her death as he added: "I see all the lives my baby girl has touched in the past 21 years. I say 21 because (Sade) used to talk to me when (her mom) was pregnant in my dreams."
Some of Sade's friends also spoke at the memorial service. One of them was Kara Quinnell, who met Sade in kindergarten, and described her as "the most beautiful girl in the world ", adding: "Her laugh was contagious. ... She was confident in the best way possible. ... She was unstoppable and not in an arrogant way."
Another friend, Alana Fisher, said Sade was "a kind soul, an independent woman" and revealed that she wanted to attend the Nicki Minaj concert at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. She said: "Right now, she should have been partying for her birthday. She was just getting ready to plan for her birthday party."
"I hope she is not just remembered for her death but for her amazing and strong life she lived as well. She was a kind soul, (an) independent woman."
Sade, a beloved employee of The Wisconsin Country Club and Pizza Shuttle in Milwaukee, was mourned by many colleagues at a recent vigil. Her employer remembered her fondly, saying: "]We were extremely lucky to have Sade as a part of our family. And as you can see, we are a family."
Following the memorial service, a dove release was held. The private ceremony commenced at 8:30 pm last Friday.

Chilling details have emerged about that fateful night with prosecutors alleging local bartender, Anderson, murdered Sade then dismembering her body after they went back to his house following a brief outing. Despite pleading not guilty and remaining held on a $5(£4) million bail, he is due to face charges of murder.
His next court appearance is scheduled for May 16.
