Jake Paul was caught 'lying' after telling his brother he would definitely beat Mike Tyson in their rearranged fight.

Paul and Tyson were due to clash in Texas next month but the fight has been pushed back four months after the heavyweight legend suffered a medical scare. The rivals will now clash on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium, by which point Tyson will be 58 years of age.

And this week, Paul was strapped to a lie detector and grilled by his brother Logan, also a former boxer who now plies his trade with the WWE. Paul was asked a number of questions about his career, including whether he felt he could beat Logan in a fight (yes, true), whether he was taking performance-enhancing drugs (no, true) and whether Tyson's age will play a role in the outcome of the fight (no, true).

He was then asked whether he really thinks he will beat Mike Tyson, to which Paul replied: "Yeah". But the lie detector flashed red and Paul said: "I'm nervous, I think I'm... it's going to be tough, it's going to be tough." Paul then pivoted to advertising about his new deodorant brand, W.

Meanwhile, the YouTube star has been rumoured to be fighting Mike Perry on the original July 20 date but has not confirmed the news. He tweeted last night: "I am fighting Mike Tyson on Netflix and I will get the W" after news broke of his supposed new opponent next month.

Tyson was told to rest after struggling with an ulcer on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles last month. There were fears the bout would be cancelled completely but the former undisputed heavyweight world champion assured fans he will be ready by November.

"Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly. I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best reschedule date for all parties," he said. "While we have a new date, the result will be the same no matter when we fight. Jake Paul is getting knocked out. On Friday, November 15, watch this in-person at AT&T Stadium or live on Netflix."
