The incident occurred ahead of his son Tyson Fury's heavyweight showdown with the Ukrainian this weekend.

Fury was left shocked after seeing his dad's injury following the altercation.

The Gypsy King had walked into a room singing and was met with cheers before his father turned around.

After spotting the blood on his forehead, he stopped and pointed at Fury, asking: "What's happened to your head you silly c***?"

His reaction was met with laughter from the rest of his team in the room.

Meanwhile, Fury Sr. could be seen laughing and smiling himself as chants of "Fury! Fury!" erupted around them.

The cornerman then turns around to exclaim: "The greatest show on earth has begun here in Saudi Arabia," as his son walked back out of the room.

He continued: "Enjoy. This is what it's about. Enjoyment, entertainment and this is it, welcome," before joining in with chants of "Fury! Fury!".

Shouts of "Usyk! Usyk!" followed from the other side of the room as the camera panned to show his team in the opposite corner.

It all came after an altercation between Fury and a young member of Usyk's team.

After clashing with a member of their rival's team, he is said to have headbutted a smaller member after he allegedly got in his way.

The 59-year-old has since apologised, telling Seconds Out Boxing: "Sincere apologies to everybody involved. It's just the way we are. Emotions and tensions are running high.

"He was a very disrespectful fella. If you come close in a fighting man's space, you're gonna cop for something.

"What matters to me is respect for my son and he wasn't showing any of it. He mentioned my son and that was it, so he had to have it.

"It doesn't bother me [bleeding], it's what we live for, we're fighting people. That's a regular occurrence to me."

Fury and Usyk are set to meet this weekend for the undisputed title after their February bout was cancelled due to a cut sustained by Fury in training.

The Brit will put his WBC belt on the line, whilst Usyk defends his WBA (Super), IBF, IBO and WBO world heavyweight titles.

Both fighters go into the bout at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on Saturday unbeaten as professionals.

Fury has a 34-0-1 record but laboured to a split decision win over Francis Ngannou in his last fight.

Meanwhile, Usyk extended his knockout tally to 14 by stopping Daniel Dubois last August to move to 21-0.
