ARSENAL legend Ian Wright was praised by fans for his insight after a clip reemerged of him predicting Mikel Arteta's success at the club.
Arsene Wenger rolled credits on his glittering 22-year reign with the Gunners back in 2018 and the club was rigorously searching for the right successor that would carry them for the next years to come.

And Wright was adamant the former Arsenal player, who then worked as Pep Guardiola's assistant at Manchester City, had what it took to carry on Wenger's work at the Emirates.

Wright said: "I quite like the feel of Mikel Arteta. You need to take a chance on people, we took a chance on Wenger,
"I think he's somebody who knows the club, he's been under Pep for a couple of years seeing what he's been doing.
"I think those players need a bit of a kick up the backside and I think he might be the man to do it."
Wright's analysis reemerged on Twitter and Arsenal fans praised the former England international for hitting the nail right on the head with his prediction.
