Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's daughter Daisy spotted in rare public outing

Katy Perry's daughter was spotted at an American Idol taping for Mother's Day in the United States.

Daisy, who was sitting in the audience with her father Orlando Bloom, was all smiles. She wore her hair up in a high bun on the top of her head and added a gown. For the Disney-themed night, Katy was dressed as Cinderella, so the pair seemed to be matching for the occasion.

Katy's outfit was a dramatic, yet accurate take on the Disney princess favorite. She donned a blonde wig which included her hair being held together with a blue headband. The singer added a classic blue Cinderella gown, complete with glitter spattered through the skirt and white off-the-shoulder sleeves.

Orlando and Katy welcomed their daughter to the world on Aug. 26, 2020, after a stunning pregnancy reveal in Katy's music video Never Worn White. When she was born, they wrote: "We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter. We know we're the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was."

The child is typically kept out of the limelight and away from the cameras, so her visit to her mother was a rarity. However, Daisy's first public appearance was during the conclusion of Katy's Las Vegas residency when she was in the audience for her mother's final show.

Katy told the audience: "I created this show after the birth of my daughter, Daisy Dove. When I met her, it was like all the love I was ever searching for finally showed up. She made me whole, and she healed me, and she showed me how to play again. So this show is for everyone's inner child and for the hope that maybe if we could all see life through the eyes of a child, we would be free."

The pop star recently revealed what it has been like for baby Daisy to grow up around the stardom. She said on a podcast: "She just loves Mama’s songs. She called me Katy Perry yesterday. I was like, ‘Uh ah, girl. I’m Mama to you.’ She’s like, ‘You’re also Katy Perry.’ I’m like, ‘Uh ah! I’m Mama!'"
