Taylor Swift confirmed the end of the Eras Tour.
The Tortured Poets Department singer told fans on Thursday, June 13 that the Eras Tour will indeed end in December. While celebrating her 100th show in Liverpool, she said: "This is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December." Her last show will be on December 8 in Vancouver, Canada.
She confirmed the news during her "All Too Well" speech before singing the 10 minute song. As some had hope they could snag tickets for any future dates, she lightened the mood joking: "I once used to have hobbies."

She also acknowledged her Swifties for making history. Taylor broke the attendance record at Anfield Stadium and wanted to thank her fans for all they have done.

We love you so much and, you know, while I was walking to the stage, they pulled me aside and told me another thing you did for us tonight."
She continued: "And that thing is that you, you broke the all time attendance record for this stadium tonight. Don't you just love knowing there's never been as many people in this room as there are right now? I, personally, love that feeling."
Taylor performed her first out of three sold out shows in Liverpool. Not only was the first show special because it was Taylor's first time performing in the city but also, fans waited in rain for this special day.
The Midnights singer said: "Liverpool, welcome to the Eras Tour. This is my very first time getting to play a show in Liverpool and, already I'm so excited. What you've already done here is crazy because it's been raining all day, you have braved the rain, you came here with, ready to like drape yourselves in plastic. You've been standing here. You've been ready for the show. I know a lot of you traveled a far distance to get to this show, right?"
The Eras Tour made history and became the highest-grossing tour of all-time after surpassing $1 billion in revenue. The tour is so popular that not only was it hard to snag tickets but the singer gave fans a chance to experience it at home by releasing Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour in theaters on October 13, 2023.
