A three-bedroom home has hit the market for less than £50,000 - but would-be buyers will have to find it first.

The home is almost entirely hidden under a huge mass of weeds, meaning any potential buyer faces a little gardening as one of their first jobs. Unfortunately, the inside does not look much better, with many rooms covered in debris, mould, and spider webs.

Photos show a bedroom - that may have been for children - still with a bunk bed filled with random rubbish, including a two-person sofa, filthy curtains, and a dirty carpet. The kitchen looks as though it will need a lot of work as every surface needs a good cleaning. The ground is filled with clutter, including unmade boxes.

The lounge looks incredibly dated, with a sofa which looks a little mouldy and will certainly need chucking away, rubbish everywhere, and huge cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. A lone lamp sits in the corner, putting out a little light over the dour room.

Anyone trying to get upstairs will also have to put in a little work as the bottom of the steps is covered in a mixture of random rubbish, several bikes, and more dust.

According to the listing, the property "has a lot of potential but requires complete refurbishment. Keen gardeners may relish the chance to rejuvenate the exterior of the home before tackling the inside".

The property is available by unconditional online auction with The Auction Company on 26 June from 3pm, with a guide price of £45,000. The listing says fully refurbished properties in the area have sold for between £185,000 and £201,000.

Earlier this month it was reported a pigeon-infested house covered in grime and bird droppings was up for sale. On Auction in Blackpool, Lancashire, the house has drawn attention online due to its squalid state and the fact it is covered in rubbish and inhabited by pigeons, who have let loose all over the place.

With a guide price of £65,000, the abode has three bedrooms, which, along with every other room in the house, are covered with old clothes and furniture strewn about, peeling walls and floors coming apart. The bathroom's every surface is covered with a thick, black grime and the garden is completely overgrown. Requiring a complete and utter overhaul, anyone bidding for this house should expect to spend a fair amount of time - and money - fixing it up.
