A CORONER said pub gun victim Elle Edwards was a “beautiful young woman” with a bright future as she opened her inquest yesterday.
Anita Bhardwaj also told the hearing she could only imagine the pain her parents felt.
She said: “This is such a tragic death of a beautiful young woman who clearly had a bright future ahead of her.”
Beautician Elle, 26, was shot just before midnight on Christmas Eve.
The court heard she was pronounced dead in hospital the day after the incident at the Lighthouse pub, Wallasey Village, Wirral.

Provisional cause of death was given as gunshot head wounds.
Elle was not thought to be the intended target.
The Liverpool inquest was adjourned to May 5.
