A VIDEO has captured the moment bullets went flying through a living room window missing a young boy and his dogs by just a few inches.

Errol Hill, 9, from Fort Worth, Texas, was sitting on the couch when he was forced to take cover due to a drive-by that injured six people, four of them being children.

“It came through the wall,” Errol told NBC affiliate KXAS.

“'I thought it was just fireworks, but when I heard the screams, I looked outside.”

The suspect was in a red Kia but has not been identified yet.

They shot at least four bullets into the Fort Worth apartment.

Errol's mom, MaryJane Gonzales, said he instantly noticed chaos when entering the living room herself.

“So I made sure he was fine, came out here and to see where exactly they shot, and as I was out here, I heard all the families downstairs yelling,” Gonzales told KXAS.

“The screams were hard screams, not playful screams.”

'TRAUMATIZED'

Gonzales is a medical assistant and went to help the injured people who were right outside her apartment.

One of the most seriously injured children who were shot included a three-year-old.

She said the toddler was going in and out of consciousness.

“It forever changed our life," Gonzales said.

“We are traumatized.

“I've never seen anyone get shot, let alone a child.”

The mother is looking to move out of the Fort Worth area now to a place where her family can feel more safe.

Errol expressed he is constantly living in fear after the drive-by.

The fear we felt that night still haunts us, especially our children, who are now scared to stay in the place we've called home for four years.

Gonzales created a GoFundMe page to raise funds to "move to safety."

“Our family experienced a nightmare in our own home," the page said.

“Bullets pierced through the walls of our apartment, endangering the lives of everyone inside.

"The fear we felt that night still haunts us, especially our children, who are now scared to stay in the place we've called home for four years.

“We're reaching out to our community for support to help us move to a safer environment where our children can feel secure again.”

The Fort Worth Police Department is continuing to search for the suspects involved.

Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to contact Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4222.
