BUNGLING Marco Pierre White Jnr was jailed after he was busted raiding a cafe and his trousers fell down revealing his tell-tale tattoos.

The former reality star smashed his way into the deli in Bath, Somerset, in an early hours raid and nicked £250 from the till.

But after crawling back through a window to escape, the plank-thick son of the world-famous chef snagged his tracksuit bottoms and pants - baring his inked behind to the security cameras.

Amused cops were able to identify the 29-year-old drug addict straight away because of his distinctive tattoos - and he was arrested the same day.

Jon Ison, 67, owner of The Abbey Deli told The Sun: "He broke in by smashing one of the window panes on the front door of the cafe with a champagne bottle.

"He stole £250 by levering open the draw of the till with a spoon even though the keys were there in plain sight. He also took the charity box from the counter.

"He probably thought he was in the clear but when he crawled back through the window he got his tracksuit caught on the frame and accidentally mooned his bare backside right at our CCTV cameras.

"Police knew straight away who it was because of his tattoos - all they had to do was check the photos of his ink on his Instagram feed to confirm their suspicions."

Marco Junior, of Corsham, Wiltshire, broke into the picturesque Grade-II listed courtyard cafe in Bath during the early hours of May 23.

The troubled convict, who has battled heroin addiction since he was 18, has a long history of criminal offences, including shoplifting, possessing a knife, and possessing drugs.

Police officers were quick to suspect his involvement in the cafe theft and soon used pictures of his tattoos posted on his Instagram account to confirm they had the right man.

Following a raid on a property in the city the same day, Marco Junior was arrested.

The next day - on his 29th birthday - he pleaded guilty at Bristol Magistrates' Court and was sentenced to 41 weeks in prison for burglary and "other offences".

Jon added: "He's been hanging out with the wrong crowd for years and we know he's got a drug problem.

“This is the second time he's broken into our cafe - the first time was almost exactly a year ago when he stole about £650.

"The hilarious thing about this burglary is that we only knew it was him because his trousers got caught around his ankles and we could see his tattoos on his bum cheeks.

"But the serious side of this burglary is that this kind of theft is a massive inconvenience for businesses in the area.

“Not only is there the cash that's stolen but there's also a big loss in trade as we were forced to close to carry out repairs."

In 2022, Marco Junior pleaded guilty to 14 offences of shoplifting, possessing a knife, possessing heroin and a racially aggravated public order offence.

He was sentenced to 11 months, with 32 weeks of a previously suspended jail term to run consecutively.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Following an investigation by police, Marco Xavier Pierre White was charged and appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court on May 24, 2024.

"At this hearing the defendant pleaded guilty [and was] committed to prison for this and other offences for 41 weeks."
