Shoppers are hailing a white maxi skirt from fashion brand Roman that's perfect for the summer months and is a holiday staple. The White Lace Detail Cotton Maxi Skirt is made from a lightweight flowing material and has lace detailing adding a touch of elegance to the bohemian-style skirt.
It has a flattering fit and flare silhouette and costs £35. New Look is selling a similar style skirt for £34.99, while River Island's White Tiered Maxi Skirt costs £40, however neither have lace detailing.
Roman's tiered gypsy skirt is available in sizes 10 to 20 and has an elasticated waist for ultimate comfort and ease. It has a tie detail with metal toggles, allowing you to cinch in your waist or loosen the skirt as required.

The maxi skirt can be worn casually over swimwear with sandals, sliders or flip flops for a relaxed look by the pool or on the beach. It can also be dressed up for al fresco dining with a cute top and a pair of wedges or heels with a denim jacket.
The maxi skirt has an elasticated waist and lace detailing (Roman)On the Roman website, a model can be seen wearing the skirt with a khaki vest top and sliders. Another model has paired it with a matching white blouse and gold hoop earrings.
Several Roman shoppers have complimented the skirt on the website, with one writing: "All of these skirts are well made to last, plus it is true to what's been described. Material is very lovely on the skin, well made and simply just beautiful."
A second explained why they bought the skirt. They said: "Looking for a versatile holiday item that could be worn casually or dressed up for the evening."
