A WOMAN viciously attacked by a dog and left needing 70 stitches on her face is yet to get justice.
The owner of the beast fled the scene, but police have now released CCTV of the pair as they appeal to the public for answers.
The savage assault occurred when a dog on a lead suddenly jumped up and mauled the 40-year-old victim as she leaned against a wall in Blackpool.
The woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries to her face and needed 70 stitches.
Following a tedious three-month investigation, Lancashire Police on Monday released CCTV of the man under investigation.

The footage shows the figure of a man in dark clothing walking a hefty brown dog on a chain the day the attack occurred.
They have appealed for anyone who can identify him or has information concerning the attack to come forward as soon as possible.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We are appealing for information to identify this man after a serious dog attack in Blackpool.
"Around 11pm on November 1, the victim, a woman in her 40s, was stood outside an address in Lord Street.
"The woman was leaning over a wall as a man walked past with a dog on a chain. The dog jumped up, biting the woman’s face causing serious injury.
"She was taken to hospital and needed more than 70 stitches to help treat her injuries. The man made off from the scene in the direction of Queen Street.
"He is described as in his 30s and was wearing black. The dog is described as a tan or brown coloured dog on a large chain."
They asked members of the public to "call 101 or email 8242@lancashire.police.uk quoting log 0061 of November 2."
The news comes as Natasha Johnston is named at the victim of the Surrey dog attack that happened on January 12.
The 28-year-old was out walking eight dogs in leafy Caterham when they reportedly turned on her like a "pack of wolves" and mauled her to death.

The attack sparked fear in the local area and widespread tributes to Johnston flooded in.
Police have since revealed that no one will be prosecuted over the fatal incident.
The inquest into her death will take place tomorrow (January 31).
