Mel C was papped with a mystery man as she took her dog for a walk in North London this week.

The Spice Girl, 50, who split from her music producer boyfriend, Joe Marshall, in 2022, held a takeaway coffee as she strolled alongside her smartly dressed companion, who accompanied the singer while she was out with her precious pooch.

Mel cut a casual figure sporting a grey Nike tracksuit, black bomber jacket and black designer sunglasses as she tried to get some fresh air in the capital. Her male friend looked very dapper, wearing black jeans, a fur-lined cream denim jacket, shades and Chelsea boots. At one point he put his arm around the Scouse star, who appeared make-up free for the outing.

The Never Be The Same Again singer, who has a 15-year-old daughter, Scarlet Starr, is notoriously private about her love life. However, Mel, who previously dated Robbie Williams, once spoke about how she was banned from dating in the early days of the Spice Girls - while her bandmates were free to pursue romances.

Speaking to Australia's The Project, she said: "Looking back what struck me was it was one rule for one and another for the others, right? I think when you are vulnerable as well, people go, I don't think it's good for you."

Mel said the rule for the other women was, "she is fine, she can have a boyfriend, she can cope with having a boyfriend, she is strong enough but you are not." 'It makes you question yourself when you are already vulnerable," she added.

The singer was in a relationship with property developer, Thomas Starr, for ten years. The couple split in 2012 before Mel gave birth to their daughter in 2009. In an interview with the BBC, the Stop Right Now star admitted that the arrival of her child proved to be a turning point in her life. She said: "Being a mum was so liberating because for the first time in my adult life, it wasn't all about me. It made me not only realise I had a huge responsibility to her but I have a huge responsibility to myself. In being her teacher, I had to treat myself better."

From 2015 to 2022, Mel was in a relationship with Joe Marshall, who also acted as her manager. The couple split in August 2022. In February 2023, she was reported to be in a relationship with her friend of 25 years, art gallery owner Cassius Colman.

Mel was recently seen busting some moves for Victoria Beckham's 50th in April. Spice Girls fans were desperate for the band to get back together after seeing the snaps, however Victoria's husband David appears to have ruled out a reunion. Speaking about the possibility, he told Variety:"Victoria was so pleased to see the girls, but all the girls have got their own things going on."
