New Look has lowered the price of a pair of 'very cute' chunky sandals that are perfect for summer. The Black Chunky Multi Strap Sandals are currently on sale for £22.49, down from £29.99.
The grained leather-look sandals are available in sizes four to 9 and are part of New Look's Comfort range that features footwear with cushioned padding, soft lining and flexible soles. Schuh is selling a similar pair of chunky sandals that are currently on sale for £35.99, while M&S is selling Ankle Strap Flatform Sandals for £45.
New Look's sandals feature three chunky straps across the foot and wide straps around the ankle and back of the foot. These offer comfort and support while walking to ensure the sandals don't slip off.

The footwear has an open-toe design and a large silver buckle fastening. Although black is the predominant colour, striking white stitching runs along the edge of each sandal. As well as being worn barefoot, the footwear could be worn with a cute pair of socks for a different look.
Many shoppers have already snapped up New Look's Black Chunky Multi Strap Sandals. One reviewer said: "Very cute sandals, incredibly comfortable."
The footwear is part of New Look's Comfort range (New Look)Another wrote: "Bought for my daughter as a gift, good quality, stylish, good price she will love them." Someone else simply added: "Fits perfectly and true to their size."
Unfortunately some shoppers aren't impressed with the sizing of the sandals, with one commenting on the footwear not being wide enough for them. They said: "I've been trying to find nice comfortable gladiator style sandals for years so ordered these to try. They are very nice but sadly not for me - the footbed is not quite wide enough and felt it was digging into the sides of my feet so would definitely cause chafing/blisters. The straps have a bit of give to them and the fastening sits comfortably without digging in. The sole felt a bit plasticky rather than rubber so not sure how good the grip on these would be."
