Myleene Klass wants to use her Hear’Say memories to inspire a gritty documentary about talent shows and being in a band.
Sources close to the star say she’s about to approach production companies with the idea. She kept diaries from when Hear’Say formed in 2001, filled with all the juicy details.
The insider said: “She thinks it would make a fantastic documentary on the likes of Channel 4 or one of the streaming services to show how wild it was in comparison to today’s standards. It would make cult viewing 20 years on."
The singer found fame on ITV reality show Popstars, which gave contestants the chance to become part of a new pop band. She eventually became a member of Hear’Say, along with Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, Danny Foster and Noel Sullivan.
And Myleene stood up for bandmate Kym when she was humiliated by judge Nigel Lythgoe over her weight. He was filmed telling her: “You need to lose some weight. Christmas is over and the goose has gotten fat.”
