Melania Trump and former president Donald Trump have been often seen entering different cars and the ex-First Lady is said to be "angry" about her husband's alleged affairs, but a former aide believes she will never leave him.

In a conversation with CNN's Erin Burnett, Stephanie Grisham said Melania "knew who she married" and is unlikely to ever break up with him. She made the comments as during Trump's trial, his former attorney and fixer Michael Cohen testified that the ex-president appeared unconcerned by his wife's potential response to learning of an alleged affair, and more concerned about the campaign.

Cohen said he asked Trump how the story might impact his marriage with his wife, Melania. Cohen said Trump told him, "Don't worry," adding: "How long do you think I'll be on the market for? Not long." Cohen said that comment led him to conclude that "this was all about the campaign."

Ms Grisham added: "I think that comment [from Trump] to Cohen rang absolutely true. She's happy, she's got a very good life. She's not going anywhere, that's been proven. And so I absolutely believe he said something like that to Michael Cohen." Here, we look at some of Melania's snubs to her husband.

Separate cars after mum's funeral

Although Melania and Donald Trump appeared standing next to each other, during the funeral of Melania's mother, Amalija Knav, the couple seemed distant. As they were leaving the event, they were seen getting separately in different cars.

Melania was seen getting in a black SUV, with security guards accompanying her. The former president was filmed standing for a while looking at her as she entered the car, and then Melania turned to speak with him for a second. Trump then backed off and got into a different car.

Social media users shared the clip speculating that their separate departure from the event signifies a distance between them. "Separate cars," noted one user on X (Twitter) while others rushed to add in the comments section below: "Separate lives." Others claimed that the move was done as a security measure, with someone writing: "Standard protection detail. You do not have two primaries in the same vehicle. A better chance that one of two might survive..."

Melania sits 'frozen' next to her husband

At the end of March, Melania remained stoic in a rare appearance beside her husband as he was presented with two trophies by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus at his West Palm Beach golf club. Trump, 77, took to his social media platform Truth Social to boast about clinching both the Club Championship Trophy and the Senior Club Championship Trophy, writing "I WON BOTH".

But according to a body language expert, Melania, 55, looked "frozen" while sitting next to her husband. Speaking to The Mirror, body language expert Judi James explained: "Melania appears to be back in her supportive role here, leaning in to listen like a friend and confidante as Trump whispers some words in her ear.

"The only problem is that she still appears to be frozen in exactly the same pose when he is sitting further apart from her and not exchanging any words. Melania's body language works though and is photogenic in her signature sphinx-like way as it appears to deny the idea of any stress, pressure or tension behind the scenes."

Savage eight-word response

Melania had a brutally honest eight-word response to her husband after he struggled to exit the stage after a rally. The former First Lady's candid feedback was revealed when Trump shared a conversation with her during a rally attended by an estimated 80,000 supporters.

Speaking to a massive crowd of MAGA enthusiasts in Wildwood, New Jersey, Trump recounted an incident following his criticism of Joe Biden for being unable "to put two sentences together." He detailed a phone call with Melania as Trump told the crowd: "I called my wife, the great first lady...I called our first lady - I said 'First Lady how great a speech was that?'"

Revealing Melania's response, Trump continued: "She said 'You were OK'. I said 'What's wrong? '. She said 'Well, you couldn't find your way off stage.'"

Melania 'angry' about 'affairs'

Last year, former White House aide Stephanie Wolkoff Winston said Melania is angry about her husband's alleged affairs but "lives in an ivory tower of denial". According to the ex-aide, Melania is furious at the Stormy Daniels sex claims but has made a decision to remain silent about them and stand by her husband.

Wolkoff, who helped produce Trump's inauguration and later worked as an unpaid White House adviser, told Page Six in an interview that Melania would never divorce the ex-president. Speaking about her close relationship with Melania, she told the Mail: "Of course she knows about Donald's affairs, she knows everything. But her silence is her dignity.

"She will stand by her husband, as she always does. I don't think Melania is humiliated by his affairs – but she is angry."

'Separate lives'

Insiders previously claimed the couple have separate lives and only meet for the odd dinner at his Palm Beach mansion. "Their paths barely cross," said a source.

"Melania is no different to any woman. Having her husband accused of cheating on her not just once but twice is extremely disturbing. There is little wonder people believe it's not just the criminal court Trump is heading to but possibly a divorce one too."
