De Gea still looking for a club

David de Gea left Manchester United last summer and is still without a club.

The Spaniard has been linked with a few moves over the season, with Newcastle reportedly interested in January after Nick Pope got injured and Saudi Arabian clubs considering him, but nothing has materialised.

All throughout, De Gea has been posting updates on social media of him working hard. With the campaign coming to an end and the summer transfer window opening soon, he is at it again.

Alisson wanted in Saudi Arabia

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is wanted in Saudi Arabia, according to the Guardian.

Mohamed Salah is a target for Al-Ittihad and they are also willing to bid for Brazil No.1 Alisson. The 32-year-old is under contract with Liverpool until 2027 and they don't want to lose him.

Frimpong available for £34m

Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong is leaning towards leaving the club this summer, according to Bild.

Frimpong has starred in Leverkusen's staggering unbeaten campaign, contributing 14 goals and 12 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions from the right flank. The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past - and the rumours are set to ramp up again now.

Palace star attracting interest

Napoli have identified Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta has a possible replacement for Victor Osimhen this summer, according to L’Equipe.

Napoli know that Osimhen could be on the move this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea among his suitors, and have set an asking price of €120million (£103m) for the Nigeria international.

They have reportedly earmarked Mateta as a possible replacement following his strong run of form under Oliver Glasner at Palace.

Ten Hag dismisses speculation

Erik ten Hag has insisted he is solely focused on Manchester United's final two games of the season and is not worried about losing his job.

“All the issues will only distract us,” he said. “We know what we’re building on and we have to keep this process going but at the same time we have to win games. The focus for me and the team is those two games.”

Man Utd duo to leave

Jonny Evans and Tom Heaton will leave Manchester United this summer when their deals expire.

Evans has played more than expected this season since joining on a one-year deal but, at 36, is not a part of the future. Heaton, 38, has served as the third-choice goalkeeper behing Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.

Frank responds to Man Utd rumours

Brentford manager Thomas Frank says he is very happy at the club after being linked with Manchester United.

“I can’t see why not. Ambition is many things – you never know what will happen," he said when asked if he felt he could achieve his ambitions with the Bees.

“Maybe I’ll stay here for the rest of my time in football. Am I going to another club in the future? Maybe. You never know. What I know is I’m very happy here. Ambition is how can you make the perfect club? How can we try to maybe win something? It’s probably odds-against to win the title, but you can win other things. How can you beat the odds and maybe one year qualify for Europe?”

Jhon Duran has caught the attention of Chelsea supporters who noticed his social media activity.

The Aston Villa striker has liked a lot of content about the club on Twitter, sparking speculation he could be angling for a summer move to the club.

Man Utd priority clear

Manchester United want to sign a left-back this summer as a priority.

Fabrizio Romano says that the position has been targeted since March. Luke Shaw has been hindered by injuries this season, while Tyrell Malacia hasn't made a single appearance.

A huge turnover of players is expected this summer, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe unhappy with the current direction of travel.

Leeds could face £100m firesale

Leeds will need to raise around £100million if they fail to achieve promotion back to the Premier League, according to the Daily Mail.

Leeds face Norwich in the second leg of their Champions League play-off semi-final tonight after a 0-0 draw at Carrow Road. The report states that the vultures are already circling, with Crysencio Summerville the top target.

The Dutch winger has been watched by Chelsea, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Liverpool and is certain to be sold if they don't go up.

Milan and Dortmund chase Guirassy

AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund will lead the race for Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy this summer, according to Foot Mercato.

Guirassy has enjoyed a fantastic season, scoring 26 goals in 27 Bundesliga games and has a very affordable €17.5million (£15m) release clause. He has previously been linked with Manchester United, among other Premier League sides.

Coutinho set for another move

Can I just shock you? Philippe Coutinho is still an Aston Villa player. I know, the Steven Gerrard era at Villa continues, despite Unai Emery levelling them up across the board.

The Brazilian is under contract with Villa until June 2026 and is currently out on loan with Al-Duhail in Qatar. Thankfully for Villa, a solution could be on the cards, with TNT Sports Brazil saying that Coutinho's boyhood club Vasco da Gama are interested in loaning him, with a purchase obligation for between £4million and £6m.

Arsenal learn Zirkzee release clause

Arsenal can sign Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee this summer for €40million (£34m).

Zirkzee has been linked with a transfer and it was previously thought that his release clause only applied to former club Bayern Munich. But Corriere dello Sport says that agent Kia Joorabchian actually negotiated things so that he can go to any club willing to pay that price.

The 22-year-old has 12 goals and seven assists in 37 games this season.

Mee signs a new contract

Ben Mee has signed a new one-year contract at Brentford.

The veteran defender has impressed since making the move to west London in July 2022, making 58 appearances in all competitions. However, Mee has not played a minute after suffering a season-ending injury in February against West Ham.

"Ben was a really good signing in the summer of 2022," Brentford director of football Phil Giles told the club's website.

"He was exactly what we needed at that point and deserved the accolades he got in his first season with us. He was unlucky with injuries last season but has been recovering well from the season-ending injury he got at West Ham, so we expect him to be taking part in pre-season one way or another.

"He is an important and popular member of the squad, so I’m really pleased he is with us next season too."

Chesterfield sign Akinola

League Two newcomers Chesterfield have completed the permanent signing of former Arsenal midfielder Tim Akinola.

The 23-year-old, who spent the 2022/23 season on loan at the Spireites, left Arsenal last summer to join Qatari side Al Bidda.

However, Akinola has now returned to England to sign for Chesterfield ahead of their first season in the fourth tier for seven years.

Napoli are looking at Atletico Madrid's Samu Omorodion as an option to replace star striker Victor Osimhen, who's set to leave the club this summer.

Spain under-21 international Omorodion has impressed on loan at Alaves this season and Sky Italia claim that Napoli are monitoring him.

Tuchel set to STAY at Bayern Munich

Increasing reports this morning suggesting that Thomas Tuchel is close to agreeing to remain at Bayern Munich in a sensational U-turn.

It was announced in February that Tuchel, 50, would leave his post at the end of the season, but Bayern's form since then - including a narrow Champions League semi-final defeat to Real Madrid - and their struggles to appoint a replacement have led both parties to reconsider.

The Bayern fan base and a number of senior players want the ex-Chelsea, PSG, Borussia Dortmund and Mainz boss to stay.

Tuchel had been linked with the Manchester United job.
