Jurgen Klopp will bid an emotional goodbye to Liverpool this weekend - before handing the reins over to his successor.
The German will take charge of his final Reds game on Sunday. Liverpool take on Wolves at Anfield. There will unlikely be a dry eye in the house as Klopp says farewell, while a few of his current stars will also be making their final appearances.
While Sunday will be about saying goodbye to the past, there is also one eye on the future. The Reds are edging towards announcing the next man to take control at Anfield.

Arne Slot confirms Liverpool move
It’s potentially one of the worst kept secrets in football - Feyenoord boss Arne Slot will be replacing Jurgen Klopp. The only problem is that there has not yet been an official announcement.

That all changed on Friday as Slot finally confirmed he will be putting pen to paper on a move to Anfield. He said: "I can confirm that I will become the trainer there next season."
Fans are still awaiting an official announcement from the club, but a deal is expected to go through sooner rather than later. A compensation package has already been agreed between Liverpool and Feyenoord.

Klopp’s Matip demand ignored
One of Klopp’s final Liverpool demands was to request a new contract for Joel Matip. The defender sees his deal come to an end.
Ahead of his exit, Klopp said: “I’m pretty sure the club will show their class, just how they should do. I’m pretty sure the club told Joel already that whatever happens so long as he is injured.
“Now we have to make decisions together with Joel, how it looks after that. That’s a normal thing to do. But yes he deserves all the support from us and he will get it.”
Asked if that meant the club would give him a new contract, Klopp replied: “I would say so but it’s not my decision in the end. I cannot sign the paper."
Klopp mocks Gerrard
It is fair to say that Klopp has been making the most of his final few days at Liverpool. And he made sure he took the opportunity to poke fun at Reds icon Steven Gerrard.
Liverpool goalkeeping coach John Achterberg is set to link up with the former midfielder in Saudi Arabia. Speaking somewhat sarcastically, Klopp said about the move: “good luck”.
Achterberg will join Gerrard’s El-Ettifaq ahead of next season. He is the latest in a long line with a Liverpool persuasion to move to the Middle East.
