Dating someone who is younger than your own children is something that’s often frowned upon but, according to happy couple Dino and Joyceline, who recently got married, that doesn’t mean it’s not true love.

Dino, 56, and Joyceline, 27, met on Instagram after he messaged her to make dresses for ‘three of his girlfriends’.

After Dino, who has been in open relationships in the past, messaged the Nigerian beauty queen and crochet business owner, asking her to make dresses for three of his ‘five girlfriends’, the pair got talking, Joyceline told YouTube’s Love Don’t Judge.

Once they’d been speaking for a while, Dino told Joyceline that if she flew to the US he could help her to expand her crochet business.

Speaking about when they first met, Dino said: "We knew there was chemistry, we knew it was there. I was a single parent for almost 20 years and it was very complicated to try and have a relationship when you're a single dad, going to college and putting yourself through medical school."

Soon after meeting, the loved up duo were married and living together in Puerto Rico, before recently moving to the Caribbean.

The couple, who opted to get married in secret, had planned on visiting Dino’s family in Florida to share the news. Unfortunately, this plan didn’t work out when Dino “accidentally” posted the news to his Facebook account, where his two daughters, Antonette and ZaZa learned of the nuptials.

Although shocked to learn of their father’s wedding, his daughters have accepted new wife Joyceline into their family.

Antonette shared that while her "first thoughts" were "I hope she’s older than me", Joyceline is not what she thought she’d be like and added: "I thought we had a pretty good conversation" when we met, and knew that she’d "fit in" with their family because "she’s interesting and smart".

Dino explained that despite his daughters getting on board with their relationship, the couple face a lot of backlash online, and said: “We’re being judged online because people have an attitude, have an issue with her being younger than me. People accuse her of being a sugar baby and me of being a sugar daddy.”

As a single parent for almost 20 years, Dino explained how he had previously been in sugar daddy relationships because ‘it was easier to have sugar babies’ and added that he had a budget especially for his sugar babies. But since meeting Joyceline he’s become a one-woman man and is, much to his daughters’ disbelief, a happily monogamous man.

Dino explained that they get a lot of comments from people saying things and said people comment things like: “She’s just there for the money, she’s gonna want a young man that can satisfy her in the bedroom. My response is how do you know that she’s not already satisfied? How do you know that she doesn’t have everything she wants? You don’t. I do.”

While Joyceline added: "I don’t usually pay any attention to any doubts that anyone can have about us. If anyone’s doubting us, that's their problem."
