BENIDORM star Honor Kneafsey looked unrecognisable on a romantic holiday with her boyfriend.

The actress, 19, found fame as Jodie Dawson when the Dawson family arrived at the Solana hotel nine years ago in series eight.

She looks very different seven years on from her final appearance on the show in 2017.

Honor has shared snaps from a sun-soaked holiday in Turkey with her boyfriend on Instagram.

The smitten star looked lovingly at her man in one snap as they posed beside a swimming pool.

In another shot, Honor showcased her slender figure in a stylish green dress as she walked down a palm tree-lined path.

The deserved downtime follows years of entertaining viewers in some much-loved TV shows.

In addition to Benidorm, Honor has starred in Sherlock, How Not To Live Your Life, Siblings 2, Our Zoo and the Barbara Windsor biopic Babs.

In that film Honor played a young Barbara, while Jaime Winstone played the legendary actress in adulthood.

The story chronicled her life and career from 1943 through to 1993, and was told as a retrospective through the eyes of Babs as she waits to perform at a theatre.

Contemplating her lonely childhood and WWII evacuation, she considers her decision to go from Barbara Ann Deeks to Barbara Windsor - inspired by the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

Meanwhile earlier this year a Benidorm legend dropped the biggest hint yet that the ITV show could return for a news series, six years after being cancelled.

Actress Sherrie Hewson responded to a fan who asked if the hit comedy would be returning.

They asked: "Will there be another series of Benidorm, Joyce?"

Sherrie commented: "Never say never," with two heart emojis.

Another added: "God let it be true.."

A third wrote: "I hope there is."

The ITV comedy show was about a group of British tourists having a holiday in Solana Resort in Benidorm.

Sherrie played the role of Joyce Temple-Savage, the manager of the hotel. On the show she fell for the head barman Mateo Castellanos, played by Jake Canuso.

After reviving a previous relationship with dance teacher Cyril Babcock, she ended up marrying Monty Staines.

The 73-year-old has also starred in Coronation Street, Crossroads and Emmerdale.

A few months back, Derren Litten, the creator, hinted at the potential return of the show.

After launching a career as a radio DJ, Derren decided to make a comeback to TV and writing.

He released a statement that read: "It's been a difficult decision but I've decided to return back to writing for both television and theatre.

"I have had clear, recent indications that certain TV channels are interested in my decision and I hope you will be watching the fruits of my labour in time to come.

"Obviously there are always rumours surrounding such announcements but I would like to make it clear my decision to come out of retirement is purely to spend less time with my family."
