It's been six years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married in a beautiful ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor. Invitations to the royal event were highly-sought after - and a number of famous faces were in attendance to support the couple as they said 'I do'.
Guests on the day included the likes of the Clooneys, the Beckhams, Oprah Winfrey, Idris Elba, Serena Williams, Meghan's Suits co-stars and, of course, the royal family.
However, in the years since, Harry and Meghan have lost contact with a number of their guests, following their very public accusations against the royal institution.
Relations with his older brother Prince William are now so strained that Harry has reportedly decided to snub his friend the Duke of Westminster's wedding next month amid his sibling being given a prominent role.
But William is by no means the only wedding guest who is barely on speaking terms with the Sussexes. We take a look at all the rumoured fall-outs.
Meghan Markle 'to unleash her own memoirs' as Prince Harry's drops next weekThe Beckhams
The two power couples reportedly first became close in 2017 after Harry and Meghan moved into Kensington Palace together. And by the time the Sussexes had announced their engagement, Meghan and Victoria's own friendship was said to have grown to the point they would "regularly text".
In early 2018, the friendship was still going from strength to strength and the Beckhams were in attendance at the royal wedding, a clear sign their friendship was going strong. But it all came to a head when reports started coming out about how Victoria had been helping Meghan.
Harry and Meghan were said to be worried close friends might be leaking stories about them to the press and reportedly suspected the Beckhams. It is alleged that in particular, Meghan suspected Victoria - and Harry called David to repeat the accusation.
An insider told The Sun: "Harry is very protective of Meghan, and decided to deal with the matter head-on, by directly contacting his good pal, David. He quickly put Harry right, and the two men agreed to move on — but it certainly made things awkward for a while."
Several months later, the royal couple headed off on a tour which coincided with the 2018 Invictus Games, held in Sydney. Harry and Meghan, who was pregnant at the time, appeared at the opening ceremony of the Games.
Harry is said to have asked David to be an ambassador for the Invictus Games - but things reportedly turned sour when the prince refused to see the former England football captain at the event in Sydney. It was claimed that the reason Harry was keeping his friend at arms' length was Meghan - as she feared Victoria was talking to the press.
Jessica Mulroney
Meghan Markle and Jessica Mulroney were once inseparable. From curating Meghan's royal wardrobe to planning her baby shower, Jessica quickly became the Duchess's right hand-woman and confidante after they met in 2011. The Canadian stylist's children even played a role in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's 2018 wedding.
But the BFFs were rumoured to have drifted apart after Jessica was called out for her 'white privilege' by influencer Sasha Exeter in 2020. The row that ensued led to Jessica being dropped by her production company.
Jessica later apologised for her behaviour and admitted to being 'ignorant and insensitive.' However, the friendship between Meghan and Jessica seemingly never recovered - and Jessica has remained silent on her relationship with Meghan ever since.
Prince William and Princess Kate
While Prince William stood by his brother's side on his wedding day, there were tensions behind the scenes. It's subsequently been revealed that Kate and Meghan had come to blows over the fit of Princess Charlotte's flower girl dress - Prince George was a page boy on the day - and William had already expressed his concern over the speed of Harry and Meghan's romance.
Harry and Meghan convinced 'royals were against them' after New Year photo snubSpeaking on the documentary Kate v. Meghan: Princesses at War?, Katie Nicholl explained, "William was quite concerned that the relationship had moved so quickly. And being close to Harry, probably the only person close enough to say to Harry, 'This seems to be moving quickly, are you sure?'"
She continued, "I think what was meant as well-intended brotherly advice just riled Harry. Harry is hugely protective of Meghan. He saw that as criticism. He interpreted that as his brother not really being behind this marriage, this union, and I don’t think things have been quite right ever since."
The brothers are now all but estranged after Harry and Meghan's numerous bombshell accusations against the royal family.
Royal expert Jennie Bond recently told Times Radio that William has now effectively "disowned" his estranged brother and doesn't spare him a "thought".
"I think as far as William is concerned, Harry really doesn't exist," she noted. "William has enough pressure on his heart and his head, with his wife [Princess of Wales] and her ongoing cancer treatment, and his father [King Charles, his job and his kids that I don't think he's got any room in his soul to worry about his estranged brother...I think William has disowned Harry."
Suits gang
Meghan found fame on the TV show Suits and a number of her co-stars were in attendance at her wedding to Harry. However, relations have cooled in a major way since then.
When asked if he had spoken to Meghan ahead of this year's Super Bowl, her onscreen love interest Patrick J. Adams responded: "Zero. No. No communication."
And Gina Torres, who portrayed Jessica Pearson, admitted in 2019: "I'm not in touch with Meghan. There's no story in why. What I will say is, if I could offer a window into what it is to be an actor and live this crazy life when you're an actor, you meet hundreds of people during your career."
Speaking at the Golden Globes in January, the actress further revealed that Meghan's former castmates simply 'don't have her number' any more. An interviewer asked: "Who texted Meghan and said 'You've gotta come to the Golden Globes, Meghan Markle.'"
Gina replied: "We don't have her number. We just don't. She'll see. She'll watch. She'll be happy that we're here."
Van Cutsems
Eyebrows were raised last week when one of Harry's oldest friends appeared on Jeremy Clarkson's hit show Clarkson's Farm. Hugh van Cutsem's stint on the programme surprised viewers, not least because of Jeremy's vile comments in his column on Meghan Markle.
The 64-year-old was forced to apologise after writing a scathing opinion piece in the Sun last year in which he said he 'hated' Meghan on "a cellular level".
The van Cutsem family have long been associated with the British royals. Patriarch Hugh van Cutsem Sr., who passed away in 2013, was King Charles' best friend from Cambridge University. He had four sons with wife Emilie: Edward, Hugh Jr, Nicholas, and William, and for ten years, the family lived at Anmer Hall on the Sandringham estate - now home to Prince William and Princess Kate.
The two households spent a great deal of time together, with William and Harry growing up alongside the four siblings - and forming close friendships that carried into adulthood.
Second son Hugh married Rose Astor in 2005 and they have three children together - one of whom made headlines at William and Kate's wedding in 2011. Their eldest, Grace - also William's goddaugter - was a bridesmaid on the big day and became an internet sensation when she appeared on the balcony with a scowl on her face, covering her ears while the newlyweds shared their first public kiss.
The first sign that there might be problems between the Van Cutsems and the Sussexes came in 2020 following Harry and Meghan's confirmation that they intended to 'step back' as senior members of the royal family.
Hugh's wife, Rose, publicly joked about the dramatic announcement. "I am standing back as a senior member of my tax return," she said on social media, "because I'd rather drink coffee, see my friends, love my family and do yoga."
She later declined to discuss her comments, explaining, via the : "I'm so sorry, I can't say anything. I'm sure you understand. I'm going to be in so much trouble."
Harry himself confirmed there was tension with the van Cutsems in his tell-all memoir Spare. He revealed that Hugh's mother, Emilie, and one of her four sons had contacted him to voice their fury after his explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The Duke wrote: "Several close mates and beloved figures in my life, including one of Hugh and Emilie's sons, Emilie herself, and even Tiggy [Pettifer, his former nanny], had chastised me for Oprah. How could you reveal such things? About your family?"
Tom 'Skippy' Inskip
Tom 'Skippy' Inskip was once very close to Prince Harry. The two friends went to Eton together and enjoyed numerous nights out in the capital. But 'Skippy' (like Prince William) is said to have expressed doubts about the speed at which Harry's relationship was developing and told Harry he should live with Meghan before "doing anything more serious".
Although his advice "came from a good place," wrote Omid Scobie and Caroline Durand in Finding Freedom, Harry "didn't totally see it that way".
As a result of the rumoured falling-out, he and his wife Lara Hughes-Young, whose 2017 wedding Harry and Meghan attended, were reportedly excluded from the Sussexes' evening wedding party at Frogmore House.
It's been reported that they reconciled in 2019, although notably Skippy is barely mentioned in Spare - unlike some of Harry's other friends.
