SAINSBURY’S customers have been rushing out to get their hands on a popular cleaning product which is scanning at the tills for just pennies.
A shopper with an eye for a bargain spotted the deal for Method glass cleaner in her local branch in Livingston, West Lothian.
She shared the news to the popular Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, where members share information on the latest cheap deals.
They posted a picture of the eco-friendly cleaning product along with the caption: “Scanning at 25p in Sainsbury’s Livingston.”
Other members were suitably impressed.

One wrote: “I like Method stuff. I just got the bathroom cleaner, thought about buying the glass one lol.”
While another added in Polish: “If I could just have Sainsbury's with me that would be great,” and added a laughing emoji.
Many others simply just tagged in their friends to the post.
According to the supermarket price comparison site Trolley, Tesco is currently selling the 828ml bottle for £2.75, as long as you have a Clubcard, otherwise it is £3.75.
Similarly, the Method glass cleaner can be bought on Amazon for £3.75.
Waitrose is selling it for £4 while Ocado is currently the most expensive at £4.50 for a bottle.
However, Ocado is selling its own label window and glass cleaner for just £1.10.
Tesco is currently charging £1.80 for the popular Mr Muscle glass cleaner for a 750ml spray.
It comes after another Sainsbury's shopper showed off their ''amazing'' grocery haul, with chunks of lamb slashed to just 10p.

According to the lucky customer, who'd uploaded the photos to the popular Yellow sticker shopping tips, tricks and hauls group on Facebook, they had popped into the local supermarket in the evening, before the closing time.
Meanwhile, the supermarket chain is now selling a range of garden solar lights that cost less than £3.
Elsewhere, Asda is currently selling moon chairs which are scanning for just £14.
In April, Sainsbury's launched Nectar Prices, offering customers exclusive discounts in a bid to rival Tesco's Clubcard.
