Football fans believed Erling Haaland was hinting at Arsenal bottling the Premier League when he mocked Gunners fan KSI after CIty's triumph.
Arsenal led the league with 10 games to go, but some have pointed to their draw at City at the end of March as a key moment. City midfielder Rodri pointed to the mentality of the two sides, with Mikel Arteta's side seemingly prepared to settle for a point.
City earned three more points than Arsenal across the remaining games, winning all nine of their fixtures while the Gunners lost to Aston Villa. The title wasn't decided until the final day, though, with Haaland and his team-mates needing to beat West Ham at home.
Haaland and KSI have a working relationship, with the Norwegian striker inking a deal to endorse the YouTuber's Prime energy drink. And now, for the second straight season, KSI has received a message from the footballer after Arsenal's failure to secure the league title.
In a video shared on social media, Haaland can be seen sending a personalised message to his friend. "KSI, it didn't go [your way] this year either, but it's not only negative news," he began.
Premier League odds and betting tipsAfter pausing to hold up a bottle of Erling Haaland-branded Prime, he continued: "It's a bit positive as well, so I'm popping this one. Cheers. Enjoy this bottle, it's an amazing drink... have a nice evening."
The use of the word 'bottle' didn't go unnoticed. "Damn that's cold," wrote one fan, with several more saying "Enjoy this bottle... he knows what he’s doing," and another writing "Ain't no way he said enjoy this bottle".

The message comes a year after Haaland privately got in contact with KSI off the back of Arsenal's 2022-23 title collapse. Speaking to The MMA Hour in May 2023, KSI opened up on Haaland's reaction after the Gunners lost 3-0 at home to Brighton to all but surrender top spot to City.
"You know it's so funny, it's so funny. Literally today, Haaland messaged me, and he just sent me a GIF," the boxer and internet celebrity said. "Well, I’m KSI man. But yeah, I sent him a video, I’m not gonna say what the video was, but it’s very funny now how well he’s doing and how well Man City are doing. It’s very funny and I’m very angry."
"No I'm not worried. No honestly like the season's done, Man City have won. It is what it is. I'm still super proud of Arsenal in general, the goal wasChampions League, and somehow we've managed to be in the title race for a little bit. Fair play to Man City, what they've won it six times in seven years, it is pretty ridiculous."
