Bridget Jones star, Renee Zellweger, couldn't keep the smile off her face when she filmed a date night scene with Leo Woodall for Mad About the Boy.
Bridget, made famous by Renee, 55, has a fling with a young lover called Rockstar in the fourth instalment of the franchise, which is currently in production in London. Leo, 27, who fans will know from Netflix smash-hit, One Day, was spotted at The Electric Cinema in Notting Hill as Bridget gazed at her new love interest while filming outside on the street.
The titular character was seen beaming as she chatted on her phone before meeting up with the young stud as they shot the scene. Sporting a short floral dress with a pair of black tights and boots and customary pink cardigan, Renee looked she hadn't aged at all since Bridget Jones's Baby in 2016.
The actress, who appeared make-up free, wore her hair in a loose pony, while carrying a denim jacket and sporting a crossbody raffia bag. Leo also looked the part, wearing a T-shirt and blue jacket, which he teamed with jeans and a pair of brown suede boots.
In the new film, Mad About the Boy, Bridget enjoys a fling with Rockstar and PE teacher Mr Walker, as played by 12 Years A Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor as well as reviving her on-off relationship with Hugh Grant's Daniel Cleaver. Chiwetel, 46, was seen shooting scenes last week which means only Hugh and Colin Firth – who has a small role in the movie as the late Mark Darcy – are yet to be spotted on set.

Rockstar, who works as a park warden, seemingly comes to her rescue dressed in a tight green t.shirt and slacks.
In scenes reminiscent of the infamous fireman's pole incident - where TV reporter Bridget famously flashed her bum while being filmed sliding down one in a fire station - the new film sees her scale a tree while trying to reach a stranded child in North London. Much to Bridget's delight, she's rescued by the park attendant, wearing a Hampstead Heath branded uniform. Leo's Rockstar was also filmed having a chat with the child actor who plays Bridget's son Billy.
With more details emerging about the new installment of Bridget's saga, fans can't wait to see the revival of Helen Fielding's much-loved character, who was first played by Renee in 2001. Whether she finds love forever, remains to be seen, but we can't wait until the flick hits the big screen next year.
