THE fixture list for the new Premier League season has been revealed - and they've thrown up a mouthwatering match for the first-round games.

The 2024-25 campaign gets underway on the weekend of August 17-18 and finishes on May 25, 2025.

And Manchester United will light the blue touch paper with a Friday night fixture against Fulham.

Erik ten Hag will be hoping his troops produce a better display when they welcome The Cottagers to Old Trafford than they did in February when they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Marco Silva's side.

Arsenal's bid to win their first title in over 20 years will kick off with a home match against Wolves on August 17.

Everton, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and West Ham face Brighton, Southampton, Bournemouth and Aston Villa respectively.

Ipswich Town will also be in action in the first round of Saturday fixtures.

The Tractor Boys have well and truly been handed a baptism of fire for the Prem return, with Kieran McKenna's troops facing Liverpool at Portman Road.

The first London derby of the season will take place on Sunday, August 18, with Crystal Palace travelling across the capital to face Brentford.

The tastiest fixture of the opening weekend is undoubtedly Manchester City's opener.

Pep Guardiola's troops' pursuit of a record FIFTH-STRAIGHT league title will see them travel to London to take on Chelsea in the first Super Sunday of the season.

Leicester City will welcome Tottenham to the King Power Stadium in the first Monday Night Football match of the new campaign.

The first major derby of the season will take place on August 31 when Manchester United welcome bitter rivals Liverpool to Old Trafford.

The reverse fixture will take place at Anfield on January 4.

The first North London derby, meanwhile, takes place after the first international break of the season - with Tottenham hosting Arsenal on weekend on September 14.

The Gunners will welcome their bitter rivals to the Emirates on January 14.

The first Merseyside derby of the season takes place on December 7, with Liverpool travelling across Stanley Park to face Everton.

Arne Slot's troops will return the favour on April 2.

The pick of the Boxing Day fixtures is the West London derby between Chelsea and Fulham.

The New Year's Eve and New Year's Day fixtures have yet to be finalised.

The final day of the season will see Bournemouth, Fulham, Ipswich, Liverpool and Manchester United face Leicester, Man City, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa respectively.

Newcastle, Forest, Southampton, Tottenham and Wolves will close out their seasons with clashes against Everton, Chelsea, Arsenal, Brighton and Brentford.

In total, there will be 380 Premier League matches spread across 33 weekends, four midweek rounds of fixtures and a Bank Holiday matchweek.
