Adele splashed out £45million to snap up Sylvester Stallone's Beverly Hills mansion more than two years ago but still hasn't moved in.

The singing super star, 36, bought the former home from the Hollywood star for $58million in 2022 and insisted on keeping the bronze Rocky statue that Sylvester had decorated the house with. Rolling In The Deep hitmaker Adele is a huge fan - and said the tribute is going nowhere.

But she still hasn't officially made the pad her home despite renovating it and adding a whole new floor. Forking out the huge sum with husband Rich Paul, their dream property is finally nearing completion and she is making plans to move in with the big money revamp almost over.

“When Adele bought the house she didn’t intend to change too much. But she has a team of Hollywood experts on board who suggested the extra floor," a source told The Sun. “The house will be absolutely gigantic by the time it’s done. But it is looking incredible and she thinks it’s worthwhile.

"She wants it to be her forever home with her son Angelo and partner Rich Paul, and she dreams of extending her family there,” they went on. She has has extended the 18,587 square-foot home with millions more spent getting things just the way the couple want.

If he asked nicely, film legend Sly could probably pop over for a cuppa. The 78-year-old played boxer Rocky Balboa in the movie franchise which started in the 1970s and he went on the star as the boxer in six films, as well as making a cameo in Creed I and II.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, he shared that Adele had taken a liking to the Rocky statue, that overlooked the home's pool and showed the character in his signature fist-pumping pose. When asked if he wanted to take the statue with him when he sold the house, the actor responded, "I did."

But he revealed that Adele also "wanted the statue" and told him: "That's a no deal. That's gonna blow the whole deal." Upon hearing the news, Sylvester said: "I like what she's doing, she's making it gorgeous." The property is one of the largest in Beverly Park, Los Angeles, with 3.6 cres and views of the city and a gated community that is jam-packed full of celebrities.

Sylvester had originally listed the 3 ½-acre estate - which featured eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms before Adele's renovations - for $110 million (£86.4million), according to the Los Angeles Times. He then slashed the price to $80million (£62.9million) in October 2021 before Adele expressed her interest in buying it.
