LIV Golf's 2024 schedule has finally been completed, after the Saudi-funded series confirmed on Wednesday that its season-ending Team Championship will be held at Maridoe Golf Club in Dallas.

The LIV setup has already ticked off seven events so far in 2024, however there was still no confirmation on where the season finale would take place in September. This vacant spot however has now been filled by Greg Norman and co, with the breakaway league opting to end their year in Texas.

The final event of the campaign will see all 13 of the league's four-man teams go head-to-head over three days of play, with a whopping £40 million ($50m) in prize money up for grabs to those competing.

The teams will be seeded one through to 13 based on how they ended the regular season, with the top-three in the standings receiving byes into the semi-finals on the Saturday. The team who will be heading to Dallas to defend the title is Bryson DeChambeau's Crushers.

DeChambeau, Paul Casey, Anirban Lahiri and Charles Howell III get their hands on the Team Championship crown in Miami, having seen off Bubba Watson's RangeGoats in second place. One man who is looking forward to the trip and title defence at Maridoe is Dallas resident DeChambeau.

"This year’s Team Championship at Maridoe Golf Club holds special significance for me as we make our Dallas debut and our team strives to defend our title in front of a home crowd," he said. "I'm excited to play this course and compete in front of Texas fans for our closing event and can't wait to bring LIV Golf's electrifying energy and fierce competition to Dallas.”

Pleased to welcome the LIV setup the Texan track, Maridoe founder Albert Huddleston said: "Members of Maridoe Golf Club are pleased to host the LIV Golf Team Championship in September. “Maridoe has been honoured to previously host the Southern Amateur, Trans-Mississippi Amateur, East West Cup Matches, USGA Women’s Four-Ball Championship as well as two 2020 COVID tournaments won by Scottie Scheffler and Brandon Wu.

"Maridoe is designed to be an enjoyable but demanding member’s club while always ready to provide a great test for elite golfers to entertain golf enthusiasts.” This year's Team Championship will come with a slight difference to the two editions prior, after roster went from 12 to 13 teams.

This came following the arrival of former world No. 1 Jon Rahm, after the Spaniard signed for a reported £450 million last December. As part of his agreement, Rahm was given the chance to form and run his own LIV franchise, which he chose to name Legion XIII, adding Tyrrell Hatton, Kieran Vincent and Caleb Surratt to his team.

Rahm's four-man setup have enjoyed a solid start to life in the breakaway league, as Legion XIII currently sit second in the season-long standings. DeChambeau's Crushers are once again impressing as they are in first after seven events, whilst Cameron Smith's Rippers find themselves in third following back-to-back wins in Adelaide and Singapore.
