A BABY girl was mauled to death by her family's pet dog while at home.
The seven-month-old was rushed to hospital following the horror on Sunday afternoon in Coventry, West Midlands.
Tragically she couldn't be saved and was declared dead after suffering serious head injuries.
The pet dog, which is not classed as a dangerous breed, was removed from the home on Sunday and humanely destroyed.
