Jennifer Lopez could face a period of "depression" if she splits from Ben Affleck, an expert has said.
The chart-topping singer could face the prospect of her Hollywood star husband moving on "swiftly" too as he battles to cope with his emotions according to Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger. Reports of a pending divorce have been circulating for weeks after Jen, 54, and Ben, 51, appeared to be living separate lives.
Now it seems like Ben could be the one to take the breakup in his stride and move on first according to the relationship expert. Patti said: "It's much easier for the guy to get [a woman], so JLo's probably going to be really depressed to try to date someone else."

Movie producer Jon Peters has given his damning verdict on why it is he believes the couple are headed for a split. Talking in a new documentary the man behind films including Flashdance and Prince of Tides - who has dated famous people including Barbra Streisand - said that in his opinion J-Lo is a love addict. The self-confessed former addict claims he thinks that Jennifer needs a man in her life constantly.

The damning report comes after Jennifer praised Ben for being her "hero" as she shared a heartfelt post to celebrate Father's Day. She took to her official Instagram page to share a black-and-white image of a brooding Ben, 51, from his 2001 movie Pearl Harbour along with some kind words. She referred to Ben as "Our Hero," showing that there is clearly still a lot of love between them.
She then added a love heart emoji and rounded off the post with "Happy Father's Day". Ben is father to children Violet, Serafina and Samuel, who he shares with ex-Jennifer Garner, 52. He is also stepfather to J.Lo's two children, Max and Emme. Jennifer's post comes after it was reported earlier this week that she was "over" trying to salvage her marriage with Ben amid his moving out of the marital home.
