After a slew of shows in Dublin and Belfast, Kimberley Walsh has enjoyed some time off with her "babies" ahead of another show in Manchester.
The songstress is due at Manchester's AO Arena from this Thursday, May 23, to Saturday, May 25, along with the rest of her Girls Aloud bandmates. The band has dedicated their new tour to late member Sarah Harding, who was diagnosed with breast cancer and succumbed to the illness in 2021.
As she gears up for another set of performances, Kimberley took a break from the stage and headed back to her home in London, where she spent some quality time with her children , Bobby, Cole and Nate.
Kimberley, 42, first shared a picture of her flight home, teasing her return "home to (her) babies." In another snap, she could then be seen cuddling her youngest child who was beaming as he held a firm grip on a toy car. "Back with his mama and his new gold lightning queen", the star penned as a caption for her heart-melting picture.
Sadly, the singer was only back for one night and her boys were fully aware their time with her was short-lived. In another picture, Kimberley showed two of her sons laying in her bed as she wrote: "When they know mummy is only back for one night," alongside a crying face emoji and a broken red heart.
Boy, 17, arrested for ‘murder’ of ‘devoted’ dad, 31, found stabbed to deathThe Girls Aloud star, who the public voted to join Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, and Cheryl in the group back in 2002, shares her three children with husband Justin Scott. Hailing from Tipperary, Ireland, Justin moved to Bristol at an early age. He also knows what a star's life can entail as he, much like his other half, was a member of former boyband Triple 8.
Kimberley and Justin first set eyes on one another during a concert back in 2003 as both of their bands were signed to the same label, Polydor. Speaking to People Magazine years after their first encounter, Kimberley announced that marriage and children were on the cards for them. "[Marriage] and kids is phase two of my life – something I can look forward to when the band is over," she'd said in 2008.
Justin dropped down on one knee and asked for her hand after their first child, Bobby, was born in 2014 and the pair tied the knot two years later with Nicola Roberts and Cheryl present as bridesmaids. In June 2016, Kimberley announced she was pregnant again and welcomed their second child, Cole, on December 15, 2016. In December 2020, she then announced she was pregnant again with her third child.
Kimberley is also a stepmother to Justin's oldest daughter Chloe, who he welcomed when he was just 16 years old. Chloe still lives in Bristol with her mother Esther with whom Justin has remained friendly.
