ANTOINE GRIEZMANN escaped a nasty injury after a can of beer was thrown at him during the Euro 2024 group stage match between Holland and France.
The 33-year-old started for Les Bleus against Ronald Koeman's side in Leipzig.

The can narrowly missed Griezmann's head, leaving his team-mates furious.
Referee Anthony Taylor briefly paused the match to remove the object before play continued.

Fans were warned against throwing plastic cups onto the pitch during Serbia's match against Slovenia on Thursday.
Serbia supporters appeared to aim the objects at Slovenia players following Zan Karnicnik's opening goal.

The stadium announcer was forced to intervene in the final 10 minutes, warning those in attendance against throwing anything onto the field.
Just moments before being targeted by Netherlands supporters, Griezmann suffered the "miss of the tournament" so far.
Adrien Rabiot received the ball in the penalty area, but rather than shooting he opted to pass it to the Atletico Madrid star on the edge of the six-yard box.
An unsuspecting Griezmann was then forced to try and scoop the ball in from behind him, instead prodding it away from goal.
