Renée Zellweger is back in her giant pants and roaming the streets of London as she brings back Bridget Jones for another quest for love.
The 55-year-old actress was spotted waving at fans in Hackney, London, around 8pm on Wednesday evening [May 22] after filming solo scenes for the upcoming new Bridget Jones film - Mad About the Boy. The fourth film in the series is expected to follow Bridget, now 51, as a single mother dealing with loss - and a reunion with an old flame. Fans will not see Colin Firth make an appearance but Hugh Grant is said to be reprising his role.
A local resident named Jackie spotted a crew of people manoeuvring a camera trolley last night, as Renée walked down the street while speaking on the phone. The Oscar-winning actress was waring a classic Bridget cardigan, grey jogging bottoms, and trainers, plus her hair was put in a messy bun. After finishing the scene she looked towards onlookers and issues a royal-style wave and smiles.

People couldn't get enough of the clip and shared their excitement. "Omg I just love Bridget Jones," said one.
Another added: "Omg I would loose my head! How exciting." "This is so iconic," said another.

"I'm so excited, I love her," wrote another fan. One other said: "It's crazy how many people are behind the scenes. Love Bridget jones - look forward to it."

Earlier this week, Renée Zellweger was spotted with One Day star Leo Woodall - said to play her new, young love interest. The pair were spotted at The Electric Cinema in Notting Hill. The actress was seen beaming as she chatted on her phone before meeting up with the young stud as they shot a scene.
The actress, who appeared make-up free, wore her hair in a loose pony, while carrying a denim jacket and sporting a crossbody raffia bag. Leo also looked the part, wearing a T-shirt and blue jacket, which he teamed with jeans and a pair of brown suede boots.
The pair have also been spotted filming a scene where character Bridget attempts to climb a tree. Pictures indicate that the idea is a nod to Bridget's infamous fireman's pole incident - when she flashed her bum while being filmed sliding down one in a fire station as a TV reporter.
