Tyson Fury is back in the gym and training in preparation for his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, but he still believes he did enough to beat the Ukrainian on May 18.
Fury narrowly lost via a split decision last month, handing the 'Gypsy King' the first defeat of his professional career. All of the heavyweight belts were on the line in the first undisputed clash for the division since Lennox Lewis vs. Evander Holyfield back in 1999.
Usyk is now the proud holder of Fury's WBC heavyweight title while keeping his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight titles. Fury said at the time that he thought he'd won the fight, and even blamed the judges for siding with Uysk as his country is at war.
A month has passed and Fury's opinion hasn't changed, as he said: "I've watched the fight back lots and still got the same answer - I thought I won. Usyk knows he didn't beat me… I thought I boxed the head right off him for most of the rounds.

"He busted my nose in round eight, got the 10-8 in round nine and I gave him round ten. But other than that I didn't give him any other rounds… It was actually a lot easier than I thought it'd be. People said he's hard to hit, I was lighting him up with four-punch combinations and laughing at him. My problem was I probably had too much fun. It was too easy. It was like I was in there with a local amateur boxer. I was enjoying it too much, messing around and paid the ultimate price in round nine."
Fury was slammed by Lennox Lewis for taking the later rounds too lightly, and criticised the boxer for his attitude during the biggest heavyweight fight in decades. "Fury was boxing like he won the fight," Lewis said on DAZN. "No boxer can judge and say they won the fight.

Fury and Usyk had already agreed to a rematch before their first fight, but due to how close the decision was it set things up perfectly for a second event.
The next fight is set for December 21 in Saudi Arabia, and now that Fury has been defeated and lost his belts, the 'Gypsy King' will have nothing to lose inside the ring. The 35-year-old has already posted videos of himself training on Instagram, and he's determined to redeem himself.
"I’ve done everything in boxing but I ain’t come back from a loss," Fury said. "I relish it, the chance to come back and redeem myself. December 21 is all me, undisputed here we come."
