Taylor Swift fans can watch the singer in a new documentary exploring her long-running dispute with Scooter Braun. Available to stream here, Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood examines the controversial $300 million sale of the pop star's masters to the music industry mogul, which sparked a public feud that has divided fans and celebrities alike.

Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood is streaming exclusively on Discovery+, which is available for £3.99 a month with Amazon Prime Video’s Discovery+ channel alongside a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial. It follows several other hugely popular ‘vs’ docs including Johnny vs Amber, Kim vs Kanye: The Divorce, and Vardy vs Rooney: The Wagatha Trial.

It comes as Swift is in the middle of the UK leg of her Eras Tour, having performed for fans in Edinburgh, Liverpool and Cardiff. She is set to perform across three nights at London’s Wembley Stadium from Friday (June 21), with some resale tickets still available here.

Bad Blood examines the $300 million dispute which kicked off after Braun bought the rights to Swift’s first six albums in June 2019. Over two hour-long episodes, viewers are taken through a comprehensive examination of the feud, exploring the complexities of music ownership, gender dynamics in the industry and the power of fan influence, while delving into the two polarised sides of the dispute allowing them to form their own opinion.

True to the ‘vs’ format, each episode examines the opposing sides of the argument. One explores the argument that the sale was conducted without consulting Swift and that she has since been blocked from buying back her masters, the other examines Braun’s allegations that Swift refused to negotiate and instead incited a public feud by pitting her fan base against him.

Both sides are presented in the show’s trailer, in which one avid Swifty describes the affair as a ‘betrayal of an artist and a woman in a male-dominated world’, while another insists ‘this was a business deal and it wasn’t some bullying attack’. The access-driven docuseries sees legal experts, journalists and those close to both Swift and Braun presenting each side of the argument.

“Taylor Swift’s dispute with Scooter Braun over the ownership of her music exploded into the mainstream, taking contract law from boardroom to social media and into public interest,” said Charlotte Reid, Vice President of Commissioning, Networks and Streaming at WBD UK and Ireland. “It’s a high-profile, high-interest story that opened debate on fandom and dominated headlines, one which will resonate with our viewers.”
