Lauryn Goodman has revealed what her son Kairo said after attending his first ever England game to see his dad Kyle Walker play in the Euros.
The influencer, 33, took to Instagram on Friday morning to share a selection of thoughtful comments that were sent her way by her loyal followers amid the ongoing backlash she has faced over attending the game in Frankfurt, Germany.
Social media star Lauryn, who shares two children with footballer, promised her son son Kairo that he could watch his dad play in action as England took on Denmark. However, Lauryn risked running into Kyle's wife Annie Kilner, 30, who shares four children with the footballer.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Kyle was the father of Lauryn's second child after months of speculation. Annie has since split from Kyle, but the pair welcomed their fourth child in April following the shocking revelation.
After flying to the Euros game, Lauryn has faced intense criticism from fans who believe that she should 'keep away' from both Kyle and Annie. However, today she defended her decision to bring her son to see his dad play in a new Instagram post, before sharing the adorable five-word response from her toddler.
Mirror Football's Premier League team of 2022 as champions dominateLauryn posted a photo to her Instagram stories of a comment from a follower who praised the mum-of-two for being a good mother to her son Kairo. The comment read: "Yes!!!!! F***king amazing taking K to watch the football. A true soldier who won't be silenced or or hidden away."
Another read: "Honestly you have done yourself and your son proud. Kairo should one million percent be at these games. I hope you know how amazing you are and how proud you should be. Shame on the rest of the world for thinking differently."
In response to the supportive message, Lauryn revealed that Kairo is desperate to go to another game. After waking up after his exciting night at the football, the toddler asked his mum if they could go again. Lauryn admitted: "He woke up this morning going 'mummy can we go again'."
Elsewhere, another comment read: "So proud of you Lauryn and I am so happy got to go and watch his daddy play football. Ignore the haters and keep your head up." While another echoed: "So proud you went. Nothing will stop a mama who loves her babies unconditionally. You've got this and we've got you. Big love."
Speaking to The Sun, a source said earlier this week that Lauryn was determined to fly to Germany for the sake of her son. The insider told The Sun on Sunday: "Lauryn truly believes that Kyle will want his son there. She has been given tickets and the flights have been sorted out for her to go. Kyle and Lauryn haven't spoken since Annie discovered they share a daughter. However, during the World Cup, it was Kyle who asked for Kairo to attend the Euros.
"Since that day, Kairo has been excited. What little lad wouldn't be? Kairo shouldn't have to watch his daddy playing for his country from a TV set in England - he deserves to be there."
Lauryn had been due to fly out with her son and her grandfather to England's opening game. The source added: "She was offered tickets for the first match and was planning to go but turned them down at the last minute. She knew the focus would turn to her and she would be blamed by fans if they didn't win, or if Kyle played badly. Going to Germany is not about some daft WAG war, it is about being a good parent."
