Clara Lago is playing Ana, an attorney from Madrid, who is rocked when her father, Jorge, is killed.

Lago was born on March 6, 1990, in Torrelodones, Spain, and has gained recognition for her roles in Spanish films and television series.

In 2018 she appeared in the movie The Commuter alongside Liam Neeson.

Tamar Novas plays a drug trafficker called Daniel.

He is a Spanish actor born on August 1, 1986, in Santiago de Compostela.

Tamar gained critical acclaim for his role in the film The Sea Inside, directed by Alejandro Amenábar, which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2005.

He has also appeared in other notable Spanish films such as 1000 Miles From Christmas and An Autumn Without Berlin.

In addition to his film work, Novas has had roles in Spanish television series such as Cocaine Coast and High Seas.

Miguel de Lira plays Padín, Daniel's father, who runs a drug cartel in Gangs Of Galicia.

He is known for his versatility and has worked extensively in Spanish theatre, film, and television.

De Lira has appeared in numerous films, including All In Silence, The Silence Of The Marsh and Good Man.

In addition to his film roles, de Lira has appeared in Mareas Vivas, Silent Cargo and Hospital Real.

What is Gangs Of Galicia about?

Ana's last conversation with her father, Jorge, ends abruptly when he's fatally shot on his sailboat in Fuerteventura.

Investigating Jorge's affairs, Ana discovers he has a secret bank account benefiting two strangers from Cambados — Berta Pujalte and Laura Cruz.

Jorge's involvement in drug trafficking suggests he may have crossed dangerous people.

Ana moves to Cambados, where she meets Daniel, the son of a notorious drug trafficking family.

Charming and adventurous Daniel, offers Ana legal representation and potentially, answers about her father's murky past.

Where was Gangs Of Galicia filmed?

The series was filmed in Galicia, Madrid, A Coruña, Cádiz, Cambados, and Málaga in Spain.

Some scenes were also filmed in Dakar in Senegal, Porto in Portugal, and Gibraltar. 

It is filmed in Spanish with English subtitles.
