SHE was the poster girl for London’s ultra-cool Primrose Hill set, famed for hard partying and hanging out with rock stars before turning her back on late nights, booze and cocaine for a more peaceful life in the Cotswolds countryside.
But it seems the lure of her lifestyle in her hedonistic twenties has pulled Kate Moss right back into it, after she struck up a close friendship with Skip Marley, the singer grandson of reggae legend Bob.

Onlookers told how she was so enthused by the concert, she even attempted to run on to the stage before being escorted off by security.
One said, “Kate was clearly a fan”, when asked about her antics before she was seen leaving the event with her younger companion.
From tongue scraping to saying no, here are 12 health trends to try in 2023Her long-time boyfriend, photographer Nikolai Von Bismarck, 37, was nowhere to be seen, with those close to Kate claiming they have a “Bohemian” relationship with a relaxed outlook on life.
Kate’s relationship with Skip, while seemingly platonic, has shown a different side to her, with pals saying she has yearned to have some fun.
A source said: “To her friends, Kate has always been fun-loving and the life and soul of the party.
“She doesn’t drink any more, but she’ll still be the last one standing.
“Kate gets a cheeky glint in her eye and will be up on the dancefloor all night.
“Her connection with Skip has brought that all to the fore and she is really enjoying getting out, meeting new friends and just having fun.
“Kate’s life was quiet at points, probably a little too peaceful, but now she’s ready to let loose.”
A case in point was her wild 50th birthday bash in January.
Kate rented the luxurious Laurent restaurant in Paris and was out dancing with friends until 2am.
How to de-clutter if you have a beauty stash to last you a lifetimeThe sight of her tearing up the dancefloor, said onlookers, was a world away from the Kate she had outwardly become in recent years, flogging herbal teas through her wellness brand Cosmoss and talking of the benefits of an early night.
She had even started “moon-bathing”, which involves resting in the moonlight in a bid to get your body to absorb lunar rays, which some say have healing qualities.
“I go to bed, I drink lots of water, not too much coffee, and I’m trying to cut down on cigarettes,” Kate said of her new lifestyle.
Just days after she was seen with Skip, whose love of smoking marijuana is as well documented as his grandfather’s, it was revealed that Kate had ducked out on a meeting with King Charles.
Insiders claimed she caused an upset in royal circles after failing to show up at a star-studded Buckingham Palace garden party celebrating the creative arts.
Tickets for the event were like gold dust and are handed out to the creme de la creme of the celebrity world.
Insiders told how officials were “put out” by her no-show as Kate is claimed to have turned down the invitation, only to later ask for it back.
Her name was still on the guest list on the day of the bash.
One invitee told us: “The organisers were clearly a bit miffed.
“These events are organised with military precision. No one tends to pull out of these parties unless it’s for a good reason.”
‘Ready to let loose’
Those close to Kate even suggested those cigarettes she was so keen to stub out could have played a part in her decision to U-turn, with smoking in the Palace gardens a strict no-no.
Kate has been sober since 2018, with her close friend DJ Fat Tony telling how she had given up alcohol after years of drinking.
He said in 2020: “Kate’s been clean for over two years.
“Me and my sober mates now have a better time than we ever did when we used to drink and take drugs.”
After transforming her life, Kate reinvented herself as a wellness guru, collaborating with Victoria Young, described on Kate’s website as a homeopath and alchemist.
Two years ago, Kate launched Cosmoss, a brand which, the website boasted, was a “curated edit of products to balance and rejuvenate”.

Her decision to set up the brand was born, apparently, because Kate was “ready to share her journey of self-acceptance”.
Or, more likely, because the pandemic saw her locked inside, like the rest of the nation, with little else to do.
“I had time on my hands,” Kate said of her decision.
“I wanted to create something that would help me feel more grounded, something I could share.
“Cosmoss was literally blended at my kitchen table.”
She brought out a range of teas, a face oil and a “sacred mist” perfume which is said to “provide a sense of inner peace”.

After selling her home in London’s trendy Highgate in 2022, she set up shop in the Cotswolds and all but stepped back from public life.
“I like to start my day with a tea and meditation, followed by some Pilates or yoga,” Kate said.
She also spoke of her love of crystals, saying: “I put them out in the garden overnight when it’s a full moon to cleanse them.
“I really believe in their power and believe in the mystical and spiritual side of wellness.”
Fast forward to the tail end of last year, however, and Kate appeared to be going through another transformation — this time back to her party-loving older life.
Kate has always loved a party and, if she gets a chance to get together with friends, she will be there

In October she was spotted walking with pals in London’s West End with a bottle of Grey Goose vodka in her handbag after a big night out celebrating her collaboration with the British Beauty Council.
It was a marked difference for Kate, who friends believed had left her partying days behind her.
And now it seems she is ready to blow off some steam.
A pal added: “Kate has always loved a party and, if she gets a chance to get together with friends, she will be there.
“Lockdown saw everyone re-evaluating their lives and Kate was no different. She loves being at home in her garden and the wellness company was born out of that.
“But there is a wild child within her and it’s coming back out.”
Reggae legend Bob MarleyCredit: GettyDevoted followers of Kate will remember her wilder days well.
She dated drug-taking Libertines and Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty, married rock star Jamie Hince and was famed for falling out of clubs.
Pictures of her allegedly using cocaine in 2005 would also nail her reputation as a party girl, though Kate later admitted she was “sick and angry” at being made a scapegoat and feared her daughter Lila, now 21, might have been taken away from her.
She once complained: “Everybody I knew took drugs. So for them to focus on me, and to try to take my daughter away, I thought was really hypocritical.”
And while Kate is certainly far more clean-living now, it seems her fun era has only just begun.
She was in fine form this week, enjoying the sunshine in the South of France.
She kissed her friends, stylist Alister Mackie and art director Simon B Morch, as she said goodbye after a weekend of partying.
She was also seen walking through Saint-Paul-de-Vence with her good friend, Primal Scream singer Bobby Gillespie, a fellow former member of the Primrose Hill set.
“Kate turned 50 and is having the time of her life,” a friend said.
“She wants to go out, have fun, see friends and let loose, knowing she can retreat back to her quiet home life whenever she wants.”
While her antics might raise some eyebrows, as Kate would say: “Never complain, never explain.”
