MARK Wright has been slammed by fans for showing off his pricey £5K lawnmower in a garden fans likened to a "field."

The former TOWIE star, 37, gave a glimpse of the perfectly-manicured outside space at his £3.5million Essex mansion which he shares with wife Michelle Keegan, also 37.

Mark credited a cute robotic device for keeping the grass under control and captured the black machine getting stuck in to the vast expanse of turf behind his outdoor swimming pool.

In his caption, he wrote: "Honestly these robot mowers from @husqvarnauk are a game changer.

"They make your life so much easier and sending them out to graze means your lawn is always at optimum length, leaving you with top quality grass and no leftover grass clippings as it’s constantly cutting 1mm at a time, so no long leftovers.

"Couldn’t love these robots more. I’ll never look back!"

Yet one fan was quick to suggest Mark didn't actually use the device at all.

They speculated: "You’ve definitely not got this and got a gardener."

Another noted: "Just seen the price gosh I wish I had the money for one."

A third noted the size of his outdoor space and put: "Are you serious? Those mowers are designed for small gardens not fields."

One then put: "5k!!!!!! Not sure the vast percentage of the population have that kind of disposable cash, and even if they did would they be spending it on a bot-mower?! Because I certainly wouldn’t be!"

HOME SHAME

Back in April, Mark was forced to hit back at home-shamers who criticised the decor of his lavish pad.

At the time, he put the blame firmly at his actress wife's door - claiming she "chose it all."

It came after fans took fire at the simple decor and chic, neutral colour scheme.

Mark told how his missus had the "final decision" on the interiors and previously said: "When it came to picking a chandelier in our house, like the light in the middle of our hallway that drops from the third floor ceiling, she designed it and drew it and I was like ‘what is that?’” he admitted.

“It's just loads of like, light bulbs just dropping from the ceiling and when she drew it and designed it with the amazing company, I looked at it and I was like ‘this just doesn't work’ and I really didn't like it but I have to say, as I said, but we went for it we hung it and it looks amazing.”

It came after the TV star had given an update on his massive pool.

GARDEN GRIPE

Yet the former Extras anchor recently suffered another garden-related gripe when it comes to a series of deceased trees at his property.

We reported how he was "at war" with a landscaping firm over the £30,000 trees which they supplied.

The 60 bay trees had been imported from Tuscany, Italy.

Mark was allegedly told he'd used the wrong soil when he complained to Lush Landscapes, who provided the trees.

Speaking on Heart radio last year, Mark explained: "It's that kind of weather outside where you start thinking about planting your spring/summer plants. I had a little bit of a nightmare, I'm not gonna lie.

"I planted some trees in my garden and they all died, and it's devastating because I spent so long watching them thinking 'please grow'.

"They were my boundary trees to give me a little bit of privacy, and the company blamed it on the soil because obviously the wrong soil can make your plants go bad.

"[I] ended up finding out they recommended the wrong plants to me, and it was because they're not supposed to be out in the open in anything below minus five degrees and at Christmas time it was like minus 15 when it snowed."
