Dressed in my custom Taylor Swift denim jacket that I hand-painted ahead of tonight's show, I witnessed the American hitmaker storm the stage and open her trio of London shows at Wembley Arena.
It really had been a long time coming for me - a fan who has waited patiently for years to see the singer live - and it's safe to say that I cried and cried a million little times. Taylor has been a massive part of my life since I was around 11 or 12 when I first heard Love Story on the radio. And ever since that moment, I've been a certified Swiftie and a die-hard fan - I even have Taylor Swift-themed tattoos!

So, to witness her emerge on stage at Wembley Stadium tonight was a once-in-twenty-lifetime dream come true for me, especially after missing out on her previous tours in past years and eras. After waiting for years to see my idol in concert, I can categorically say that it feels like all of my dreams have come true at once - and that was before she crooned not two but FIVE surprise songs, all of which were on my dream wish list of songs to hear live.
The atmosphere in the stadium was electric, filled with thousands of people who were filled with joy and happiness ahead of Taylor stepping out to croon more than 45 of her greatest hits. An abundance of glittering ensembles, thousands - if not millions - of friendship bracelets being traded, and the biggest, most apparent grins upon faces... the night was sparkling and I definitely never wanted to let it go.
Taylor Swift's next studio album revealed after tenth release broke recordsPerforming for three hours, Taylor did not disappoint and rocked the entire show without a single hair strand out of place. Stopping several times however to help fans, Taylor expressed her love for her fans multiple times and was gracious whenever she paused to give a speech, thank the crowd, or urge security to get help for fans in need.
Hearing All Too Well (10 Minute Version) was an iconic moment, crying and screaming the iconic bridge with 88,000 other people will be a core memory for me to look back on when I'm 88. Then, the surprise songs. Oh wow. I screamed so loud every time I heard a different note. First up was Hits Different from the Midnights album, which she mashed up with Death By A Thousand Cuts from Lover.
Then, she performed The Black Dog for the very first time ever - due to the pub it's named after reportedly being in Vauxhall. She then mashed it with Come Back... Be Here because it mentions London, before weaving parts of Maroon into the surprise song mashup during the acoustic set. Overall, the show exceeded my expectations tenfold. Every song was pitch-perfect. Every dance move absolutely nailed. And every single sweet moment, nod to other albums, songs and her British fans was so wonderful to witness.
And now I can't wait to do it all over again in August.
