Moris moved to London, where she received her degree in law and politics from SOAS University of London.
She then received her master's degree in refugee law from the University of Oxford before getting her second master's at the Complutense University of Madrid.
The couple met in 2011 and began dating in 2015, with Assange proposing in 2020.

The couple were able to marry despite Assange's imprisonment in high-security HMP Belmarsh and the fact that he faces extradition to the US for allegedly leaking sensitive material about the Afghanistan and Iraq wars.
Moris, who was dressed in Vivienne Westwood, addressed the crowds who had gathered outside the prison: 'He's the most amazing person in the world and he should be free," she said.
'But our love will carry us through," she added.
It's believed that Assange proposed when Moris was pregnant with their first child.
She told The Times: “He gave me a VR [virtual reality] headset and told me there was a surprise inside for me.

Both young boys were present at the wedding - dressed in bow ties, smart blazers and purple kilts.
Their first son, Gabriel, was born in 2017, followed by Max, born in February 2019.
The couple secretly had two children together while Assange was holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
Both children were conceived while Assange was in the embassy seeking asylum to avoid extradition to Sweden.

On June 24, 2024, Assange agreed to plead guilty to his alleged role in the US government breach.
In doing so, Assange was released from prison in the UK and has since left the country.
A statement via WikiLeaks read: "Julian Assange is free. He left Belmarsh maximum security prison on the morning of 24 June, after having spent 1901 days there.
"He was granted bail by the High Court in London and was released at Stansted airport during the afternoon, where he boarded a plane and departed the UK."
As per CNN, the plea deal would allow Assange to avoid imprisonment in the United States.
Assange is expected to appear before the U.S. federal court on the island of Saipan on June 26.
His extradition out of the UK comes after Assange spent five years behind bars at HM Prison Belmarsh.
