Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson came under fire from fans after sharing images of their daughter True wearing heavy makeup.
The adorable six-year-old was seen posing with her dad backstage at her ballet recital in a series of pictures he shared on his Snapchat account. In the pictures, True is seen beaming from ear to ear dressed in a pretty pink embroidered leotard and tutu.
The youngster had her dark hair slicked back into a bun and had heavy makeup applied to her face with volumised lashes, winged eyeliner and striking red lipstick. In the pictures she was also seen proudly clutching a bouquet of cream roses as Tristan strongly smiled beside her, and posing in a mirror as a makeup artist applied her lipstick.

Let babies be babies." A third commented: "She looks absolutely stunning but it does upset me that we feel the need to plaster such small girls in makeup."
A fourth social media user scathed: "Children are beautiful… they don’t need make up… especially red lipstick." A fifth quipped:"That is way too much makeup. She’s a kid. Not an adult."
However, many other fans pointed out that makeup is usually a dance recital requirement for girls of all ages as they jumped to Tristan and Khloe's defence. One said: "Makeup for dance recitals is required. My daughter did dance for 10 years and colorguard 8th-12th grade which makeup was required as well."
Another agreed:"OMG your child has clearly never been in a ballet recital...the teacher's dress and does the girls makeup." A third pointed out: "Guys just chill out, it's totally normal for girls to have makeup on for dance recitals. It's all part of it. Can you not just see a young girl happy spending time with her daddy and be nice about it. Jeez."
A fourth echoed: "True looks beautiful and is the absolute spitting image of her dad. So nice to see them looking so happy together. Stop making it negative." A fifth offered: "I can't get over how much True looks like her dad. It's like she stole his whole face. She looks absolutely beautiful, what a gorgeous little girl."
