Brits are going wild after spotting a rare Lindor flavour on supermarkets shelves "at long last".

The Swiss chocolatier, best known for its eclectic flavours and colourful packaging, recently dropped a cult-favourite treat in Tesco supermarkets. Lindt fans are so obsessed with the new release that they are vowing to fill up their trolley immediately before the treats all go.

The Coconut Lindt Lindor chocolates have been spotted in Tesco - and fans say it is about time. Wrapped in a sparkly blue packaging, the "lush" treats with a "yummy" centre will set you back £6.30 for a 200g a box. The not-so cheap price comes after Lindt warned it had no choice but to raise its prices following increased costs of packing, transport, and staff salaries.

Popular page with food lovers, New Foods UK, shared a snap of a box of the unique chocolates found in Tesco recently and said: "Coconut Lindt Lindor now available in Tesco!"

Chocolate fans rushed to share their excitement. One commented: "I love these flavours, I want them." "Bet they are lush," wrote another. "Yummy," said a third.

Another excited individual wrote: "At long last! Can never find these anymore, my total favourites." Another was pleased the treats are "finally" available, while on other described the chocolates as "the best". "We have to find these," wrote another.

"We've been waiting for these to come back," added another. "At long last," said another chocolate lover. Lindt describes the chocolates as "an irresistible selection of tropical Lindor". On Lindt's website you can get a deal of two boxes for £10.50, three for £14.50, or four for £23.

Lindt isn't the only brand which has been keeping chocolate fans excited; Cadbury's recently launched an Iced Latte Twirl, and the Cadbury Top Deck was resurrected. The chocolate brand, owned by Mondelēz International, left fans saying they "can't wait" after announcing the "epic partnership" with Lotus Biscoff.

Plus, Nestlé fans were delighted as the KitKat Chunky Crunchy Double Chocolate bar was announced.
