Finding the perfect hair dryer that suits your hair type and routine can be a time consuming and costly challenge. Dyson, however, seems to have the answer, with shoppers claiming its Supersonic Origin Hair Dryer is 'the best ever' - and it's currently on sale at Boots.
The high-street retailer is offering £50 off the Dyson gadget that's engineered for different hair types. The hair dryer has three speed settings - high, medium and low - and four heat set-ups ranging from 28 degrees celsius to 100 degrees celsius.
Each of the heat settings has a specific purpose, including fast drying and styling, regular drying, cool drying and diffusing, and constant cold to set your hair style. Boots is currently selling the hair dryer for £229.99, down from £279.99.

You can buy the same hair dryer directly from Dyson and John Lewis, with both retailers also offering it on sale for £229.99. The gadget has a powerful V9 digital motor which claims to be on average six times faster than other hair dryer motors.
Combined with Air Multiplier technology, the Supersonic Origin Hair Dryer produces high-pressure and high-velocity jet controlled air that can target one section of hair at a time for 'fast drying and precision styling'. It measures air temperature over 40 times a second and regulates the heat, helping to prevent extreme heat damage and protect your hair's natural shine.

Over 8,900 Boots shoppers have reviewed Dyson's Supersonic Origin Hair Dryer, with it scoring an overall rating of 4.7 out of five. One customer said: "I wish I had bought one years ago. My hair has never looked better."
A second wrote: "The best ever. Got this two weeks ago and it's a game-changer, absolutely fabulous, the plug weighs more than the dryer. It's bonkers!"
A third commented: "Having used the Supersonic since April, I can't imagine going back to any other hair dryer. I love the range of heat and fan settings at my disposal as my hair recovers from a serious episode of hair fall. The attachments as well as the Dyson tutorials are really great, too!"

Sadly one shopper has an issue with the weight of the hair dryer. They explained: "I find my Dyson hair dryer far too heavy, so I've given up trying to use it. For me, buying it was a waste of money. However, my hairdresser really does a great job styling my hair with her Dyson, especially with the smoothing attachment."
