Daisy May Cooper has teased that her newborn son Benji left one of his older siblings unimpressed recently, just weeks since he was welcomed into the family.

It was announced earlier this month that the actor, 37, and her partner Anthony Huggins, 45, had welcomed newborn Benji into the world. Daisy was already a parent to Pip, six, and Jack, three, from a previous relationship, whilst Anthony is understood to have two older children himself.

BAFTA winner Daisy - who's known for her mockumentary sitcom This Country - has shared some updates with fans on Instagram in the weeks since Benji's arrival. She gave a glimpse into the family in a post on the platform this week.

She shared a video of the newborn seemingly lying asleep in a baby swing. Alongside the clip, Daisy teased in the caption that one of his siblings, believed to be her eldest child Pip, had shared their thoughts on Benji recently following his birth.

Daisy wrote in the caption that accompanied the video on Monday morning that the newborn had been told her had a "very boring personality". She told her followers: "No 'f's' given after his big sister told him he had a 'very boring personality'."

Daisy confirmed that she was pregnant in March and it was announced earlier this month Benji had arrived. She shared footage of herself interacting with the newborn baby whilst on a neonatal unit in a post uploaded to Instagram.

She wrote alongside it in the accompanying caption: "What a bloody week ... You came a bit earlier than we expected and gave me the worst post op constipation that I nearly had to phone the Samaritans but my god you are perfect."

Daisy added: "I cannot thank [Gloucester Delivery Suite] enough. The way you looked after us through such a scary time was above and beyond. You are all bloody superstars. I am so blessed." She concluded by introducing her son, telling her followers: "Welcome to the world little Benji, ya nutter."
