CROATIA has become one of Brits' favourite beach holiday destinations over the last few years.

The Balkan country has more than 2,500 hours of sunshine a year, fabulous beaches, cities and cheap deals all year round.

Although prices tend to rise during summer, many deals are still available starting from £155pp.

If you're unsure where to go in Croatia, the most famous locations to visit are the coastal Split and Dubrovnik, or the capital, Zagreb.

The Adriatic Sea surrounds the region's islands, secluded coves, and endless miles of sandy coasts.

One of the most famous beaches in Dubrovnik is Banje Beach. It has fantastic views of the Old Town, the sea, and clear waters.

The Croatian hotspot is known for jet skiing, swimming, and water sports.

While Brač is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea, and it's becoming very popular with tourists.

Nature lovers won't be disappointed, as the country is home to some of the most spectacular parks.

The parks are world-famous for their natural beauty, including waterfalls, lakes, and miles of forests.

Plitvice National Park, Krka National Park, and Mljet National Park are the most famous parks.

After a day at the beach or exploring the parks, you'll have to tuck into the renowned cuisine.

The country's cuisine blends flavours from the Mediterranean and Europe. Many dishes use fresh seafood and are accompanied by regional wines.
