WWE legend Hulk Hogan has stated his ambitions to step into the political ring at the age of 70.

The Hulkster expressed his unlikely goal to become president in an interview with NewsNation’s Dan Abrams Live.

“If I was the VP, and then all of a sudden I roll right into that top spot, four years later … you get 12 good years out of me,” Hogan said.

“And then all of a sudden, we would really be on track.”

Hogan supported Democrat Barack Obama in 2008 and Republican Mitt Romney in 2012.

In 2015, Hogan said he wanted to be Donald Trump's running mate in his election fight with Hillary Clinton.

“I don’t want to be in the ring with any candidates. I want to be Trump’s running mate,” Hogan told TMZ.

“Did you hear that? Vice President Hogan,” he added.

But he did not express who he wanted to win this November's US presidential election between Joe Biden and Trump.

The WWE Hall of Famer said he would “probably have to put myself in there somewhere.”

“I’m for the guy that’s gonna straighten this country out, man, whoever that person is,” Hogan told NewsNation.

"I can't pick right now."

Hogan has had meaningful political talks in the past, including a run at the Florida Senate.

“I’ve thought about it — as of late, people calling my phone, driving me crazy about running for Senate," he told TMZ in 2018.

"They want me to run for governor, they want me to run for mayor."

But Hogan said he wanted nothing to do with it.

"At the end of the day, I’m just so confused because it’s like watching the politicians — the Democrats and the Republicans — it’s like nobody wants to work together,” Hogan added.

“It’s like a wrestling match, with two wrestlers that are supposed to work together and paint this beautiful wrestling picture.

"The Republicans and Democrats act like they hate each other and they don’t want to do anything except create chaos.

"So I really don’t want to be any part of that.”

Hogan has, however, taken some inspiration from former WWE star Jesse Venture's climb up the political ladder.

“After seeing Donald Trump's fanbase and watching what [former wrestler-turned-Minnesota Gov.] Jesse Ventura did... in the state of Florida, I got a feeling it wouldn’t be that hard,” Hogan said.

“I really do.”

Hogan has been promoting his latest business venture, Real American Beer.

“This is going to bring America back together one beer at a time,” Hogan told NewsNation.

He said the brand would appeal to “Middle America, NASCAR, wrestling, country western, mom, apple pie.”
